@FiiO Any other correction/upgrade than the firmware?Firmware update to fix a bug.
Dear friend,Hi @FiiO I just got my K7 and am worried about the build quality of the connectors at the back. The USB-B port seems to have some flexible movement (up/down)- am afraid this doesn't indicate a long life of plugging in and plugging out on this port. Do you have any words of help on this?

Thanks for the reassuring wordsDear friend,
We have used this usb b ports for our desktop DAC since K5Pro AKM and got very few feedback of USB port failure before. So please don't be too worried about that.
And we have one-year warranty. If there are hardware issue with your K7, you could contact support@fiio.com or your seller for help.

Oh my, thats a beauty. What about K7BT? ...Can I just purchase the red shell? just kidding.Red Version of the Desktop DAC and Amplifier K7 Is Coming!
FiiO is a user-oriented company. Previously, we received feedback from some distributors saying that there has been a greater demand for a red K7. Therefore, after the first batch of the K7 black version was done, we continually arranged the red one. The reason why the K7 has been popular and was out of stock should be due to its truly balanced output, high output power, generous materials, impressive designs, etc. In addition to the positive market feedback, it was highly recommended by Headfonia and granted the Desktop DAC/Amp Category Gold Award in 2023 VGP, as well as other awards.
Today, the K7 has a new color - red, which is still the best choice in the same price range compared to similar products.
The K7 red version has exactly the same features and configurations as the black one, which applies a six-stage audio circuit as used in the high-end K9 Pro, as well as the same THX AAA 788+ amplifiers. The results are strong abilities to output 560mW into a 300Ω load at 1% distortion, and 2000mW into a 32Ω load at 1% distortion.
As the first true balanced DAC/Amp for the younger generation, the red version will refresh your visual effects and make your HiFi desktops more colorful.
* Key features of the K7 red version include:
-- Truly balanced headphone amp
-- THX AAA 788+ amp technology
-- Dual AK4493S DACs
-- Multiple intelligent protection systems
-- Power supply with numerous independent LDOs
-- Included 12V/24W low-noise switching power supply
-- RGB status indicators
-- 3 output modes
-- Two levels of hardware gain
-- Numerous outputs and inputs

From what SN or manufacturing date does it come with new firmware?Dear friend,
IF bought from FiiO’s official AliExpress store, Yes new version. If you bought from unofficial 3rd-party AliExpress stores, we could only check if you could provide the SN code to us.
Best regards
Dear friend,From what SN or manufacturing date does it come with new firmware?
I'm also waiting for a new K7 bought on Ali and I don't know yet with its SN, but if Fiio tells us from which SN it already guarantees to be the new updated one, it would be easier.

Dear friend,@FiiO , you occasionally make versions of your amps with a clear window in the top of the case, right? But they're usually not distributed to America? I'm an American that would be very interested in buying that version

This speaker is a Bluetooth speaker but it also has an Aux input.Hello head-fi! Pardon me for the (very) stupid question.
I'm thinking of getting into speakers for my desk - currently looking at the Ruark Audio MR1 mk2 (most likely) and the Audioengine A2.
For these, can I connect these to the K7 and how would I do that?
Apologies for stupid question, I have literally never dabbled in speakers before and I am not sure why I'm so intrigued right now either hahaha. Thanks everyone!
Thanks Ichos! Appreciate that a lot. This speaker is a Bluetooth speaker but it also has an Aux input.
You are going to need a stereo RCA to 3.5mm cable that you will connect to the pre/line output of the K7 and the aux input of the speakers.
