Hello o/
Quick questions about the k7 bt:
- is there is way to see the battery level of the bluetooth device connected to it? (i use utws5 with my fiio fh7s)
- any support for mqa on the bt version? wasnt available on the regular one
- the product page says "Recommended headphone impedance 16~300Ω) however the 4.4mm output impedance is inferior to 1ohm, which according to the eight rules should be more than enough for my u12t with an impedance of 10 ohms? Could you elaborate on that?
- why does it cost 60 euros more for the EU plug on aliexpress?
- also when will it be available in Europe? the shipping cost is a tad expensive :)

Thank you

Also MQA went bankrupt so I doubt any new products from anyone are going to support MQA anymore

Dear friend,
1. The K7 BT does not have battery. So the APP will not show its battery level as well.
2. It does not support MQA.
3. Yes, theoretically, the K7 BT could drive your 10ohm headphone.
4. The VAT is included.
5. We are arranging the K7 BT to our sellers in Europe, so you may get it from the seller at about 1-2 weeks later.

Best regards

I think the OP was wanting to know (and i'm making a wild guess here) that if within the Fiio app, will it show the battery percentage of a connected BT device such as BT headphones.

Dear friend,

The K7 BT supports Bluetooth receiving instead of transmiting. So it could not connect to BT headphones and support the feature you mentioned.

Best regards

Yeah i meant displaying the level of the connected BT iems.
Thought it was a feature on the BTR lineup so i thought it might be present here aswell.
So there is no way to know the level of the battery of my UTSW5 if i connect them to the kt7 bt?
Speaking of supporting my 10 ohms iems, is it normal for the sound level to be so low without the high gain? (they are connected with the po right now as i am waiting for a jack adapter for the balanced port).

Unless I'm interpreting it incorrectly, I don't think you can connect the UTWS5 to the K7 BT in the first place. "Bluetooth receiving" means using an external source (such as your mobile phone) to transmit music to the K7 BT. Since the K7 BT (apparently) does not support Bluetooth transmitting, that means you can only listen to music via wired connections.

Besides - if you are using the UTWS5, why would you need to use the K7 BT in the first place? You'd just pair it with your phone (or other source device), and bypass the K7 BT altogether. The K7 BT wouldn't do anything to improve the sound with your UTWS5 anyway, since it would neither be amplifying, nor doing the DAC conversion, of the music - both of those are done inside the UTWS5 itself.
