@FiiO Could you please help with the rated Bluetooth range for the BTr5 and TWS1?

I have both and they are completely different in signal range. TWS1 being at least 3x better.
Dear user,

Are you using the same Bluetooth codec? The useage condition is same or not? You could provide more information and email to support@fiio.com, we will have a check for you.

Best regards

How doest the btr5 work with power hungry headphones? Beyerdynamic 250 ohm,t50rp mk 3 modhouse, and so on?
Dear user,

The output power may be low when using with headphone with high impedance. Or you could try to compare by yourself in the local store first.

Best regards

Tnx for answer.I guess beyerdynamic dt1770 pro and argon t50rp mk3 modhouse needs more power. But it should work fine with my fa7 and fh7 with balanced cable 😊

How far away can your BTR5 work correctly when there is no obstacle? It seems to be a hardware issue with your BTR5.

Best regards

2-5m maximum... if I place the BTr5 in front of me and turn my back to the source, a couple steps away from the source is enough to start breaking up the signal.

I found annoying thing about BTR5 related to charging.
If I turn off charging in the menu, while using it connected to a phone or a player and put it on charge afterwords it will not charge until I turn on the charging feature back on, even if I connect it to a charger in a turned off state, and it does not matter that I charge it connected to a phone charger so I have to turn the BTR5 on, go through menus turn the charging on and only then I am able to charge it . So is this normal or it is a bug in my BTR5?
Also an option to turn the Bluetooth off all together would be nice feature if I mainly use it as a wired dac :) Probably that wont happen, but thought mention it anyway :)

Hi @FiiO, is it possible to use BTR5 as a USB DAC in a way that bypasses the battery? In order to prevent battery degradation when using it mainly as a PC USB DAC I would prefer it to not use the battery at all, and instead pull the juices straight from the input like a DAC without battery.
Is that possible?

Thanks
