Hoping FIIO would replace the battery when needed.
I'm pretty sure that's not gonna be a thing they do. I have an X5 2nd gen DAP and I don't think they have a "send it in for battery replacement" program for that so, once it's dead, it's likely dead unless there's a Youtube video and a path to opening it up myself!

It's sad to realize the mechanism is the same as in the "rewind" player. I thought it's an own new designed mechanism....
Yeah, there is only one mech, so they all start out the same.

My hope has faded to get a new designed analogue cassette deck, all designed and made by FiiO. :frowning2:

As far as i can see latest fiio plan description from fans and fiio itself:
CP13 - on its way now.
TT13 - turntable
DP13 - compact disc player

But as far as i get it all this line depends on the market.

This is a really informative video. It's a shame about the playback speed issue on the CP13. You can clearly tell it's playing the tape too fast in the comparison section, which is a shame because I feel it also had the highest fidelity of the 4 new production models. Hopefully Fiio can address that problem in future production runs.

EDIT: Post #300 explains how to calibrate the speed

Yes,you are right

The production line have test the speed when producing, and the production line test standard, this is a range, individual products are also understandable to deviate from the upper limit of the speed.

There is a speed adjustment potentiometer. If you are concerned about playback speed, you can try adjusting this one.

Note:
Not recommended for inexperienced people, and people who can't hear fast enough to adjust this
