I hope they sound better than they look. They look like a George Forman grill.

Beauty is the eye ....... my friend. They've got to fit 5 drivers in there. Looks perfectly ergonomic to me. I think they look great.

Looks like you could fit 25 drivers in there. I get your point though but these will not be on my to buy list unless they perform like nothing anyone has heard before.

Potentially your loss. I can't see them when they are in my ear - so I could care less how they look. Sound and comfort is all that matters (to me anyway)
Stay tuned!!I hope they sound better than they look. They look like a George Forman grill.
Best regards

Are they a step above the Fiio 9pro?
Are they a step above the Fiio 9pro?
I'm guessing more like the Fidue Sirius A91 with a lower price tag so pobably a different market? I don't doubt they'll sound good. I like fiio stuff, value for money it's hard to beat from what I've seen and heard.

So, I see in the pic the bottom of the cable connector is blue. I'm assuming those are both L and there is red on the right side. Any chance to pick up those color and do Red/Blue combo. Would be very fetching I think.
The (F)oreman (H)eadphone 5.
What do you think the "F" stands for...I hope they sound better than they look. They look like a George Forman grill.

FH5 is going to be another flagship from Fiio and most probably around 249 USD.

That'll be £249 then because fiio like to pretend there is no conversion rate and slip the extra money in their pocket. Probably the most annoying thing about fiio, there's nowt like feeling fleeced.
I would actually like to hear a reply from fiio on the US to UK exchange rate issue???? It's been mentioned several times but they seem to ignore these comments. Fiio what is the reason you swap the $ for the £ without the exchange rate being considered?????

Must be to do with Donald Trump then. I've heard he's good at getting good deals for his citizens.
Dear friend,

So you manufacture the products and sell them to your regional distributors and still can't tell them how much to charge?

Isn't it illegal for a supplier to dictate the retail price in the UK? As in other sectors, it seems that UK retailers accept the suggested US price & switch $ to £ but then some do offer discount codes & promotional offers like "Easter15". But, in a niche market like this, I can see why retailers do not need to enter a price war. After all, look how often they are out of stock on the newest, hottest items.
