Im sorry but the pricing of a product is massively important and this issue should not go unmentioned.
I think what fiio Europe or UK or whoever IS responsible should be saying is Thankyou for the feedback and drawing this to our attention, yes it is not fair and we intend to try and sort this out.
Fiio, I think by trying to ignore this issue you are just annoying your customers further.

Unless Fiio is purposely limiting competition by only having one dealers/distributor in some markets then the difference you are seeing in pricing from one market to the next is down to import tax, VAT, or local sales taxes.
If one dealer is leaving a profit opportunity for another dealer by setting an unusually high profit margin you can bet your last breath they will be undercut. Unless they have no competition, and that
could be Fiio's doing.

I agree. I don't like the nothing to see here lets move along attitude though. There must be a reason and unless it's explained we are left thinking we are probably being ripped off.

Regarding VAT, why is it as a resident of Jersey, Channel Islands, I can purchase from two of your three UK retailers, HiFiHeadphones.co.uk and AdvancedMP3Players.co.uk and get the UK VAT taken off, but when I try to purchase from your "FiiO Store" on Amazon.co.uk, you don't take the UK VAT off?

It was suggested by FiiO on their own forum that it was Amazon's doing, but this is not the case, as when I purchase directly from them, they also take the VAT off. As do quite a few third party sellers, just not FiiO.

Maybe you could compare the mmcx port of those cables? Maybe the one which could not fit the FH1 is a bit different from the other?

In Romania there is only one distributor that had the FH1 at 96 EUR; now they are offering a 'sale' - 85 EUR. Rip-off.

They are 75 EUR now..

I never got to try aftermarket cables. My FH1's lasted less than an hour before one side stopped working with the balanced cable. I couldn't be bothered to try the 3.5mm cable to try and find what was at fault.

If it was the MMCX connector and not the cable, I hope the FH5 doesn't share the same design.

I am very sorry about that , plz contact our dealer to get a new cable to fix the issues. and the mmcx is become the most common headphone connectors so we have to use it to compatible with most after market cable. and the FH5 will still use the mmcx connectors.

About the retail price in some countries, we will try to talk with our distributor but it is not our right to control the retail price . also the VAT is quite different between countries.
