[Mad Lust Envy]

I own a Fiio E7, and will most likely (scratch that WILL) get the E9. I'd still like the option to use the E7 purely as a DAC and perhaps later on get something like the Matrix M Stage to power the K701 and DT990/600 (It's already shipped out, just waiting till it gets here).
 
I know the E7's line out dock is mainly for the E9, but I have seen images of a LOD that is part USB and part audio cable (apparently to pair with other amps.)
 

 
Is it real, or just some prototype image? If it is, what's become of it? I REALLY need to know. I'm very happy with my E7 so far, and don't need/want another DAC, but want a stronger amp, and the reviews on the E9 are still not out on how well they can power the headphones I mentioned.
 
I have been looking on Head-fi and I swear I can't find a thread on this whether it's real or not, and whether it works....

Don't know where you got those info but it is quite outdated. The first L7 prototype already reached FiiO early this month but they don't like how it looks, so they scrapped it and currently is in process of making a new mold for it.

Oh what? Man, where can I keep up with this? I searched and searched and only found a couple of threads online mentioning the L7, and a page on Fiio's site stating development was 'stopped'. I assumed the worst...

Has their been any updates on the development of this? I have been settled on buying a dedicated DAC for my ld mkiv and just stumbled on this.  If this were true then I would not need to drop money on a second DAC and could instead add another set of cans to the collection. muuhahahah

I am very sorry ! the L7 is almost done and we need to make the final version and have a trial production in Feb! so
 
it will launch market in March because there are almost one month all the worker stop working for Sprin Festival!
 
The price of L7 is almost the same as our L1 so it is not a expensive accessory!
