Brilliant, thanks. Just had a quick look in the loft and actually had one of these already, and have it plugged into my Denon and playing perfectly now. Loving this player after using it for a couple of hours!

Hi. Just got my DM13 today. I want to use it as a desktop CD player with my Denon AVR-X2800H via a digital connection. The CD player comes with an adapter to convert the 3.5mm jack to a coaxial, but my Denon only has optical digital inputs. Is there a lead or adapter I can get to convert the 3.5mm jack output to an optical input? I don't want to have to power a separate converter. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

There is indeed an optical output inside the 3.5mm jack... You should use a mini toslink to toslink câble

We are doing the final confirmation, DM13 will update the V27/V17 firmware in the near future, mainly to solve the following problems:
1, some of the machines above the inaccurate display of the power
2, some of the CDs played in the first second without sound (it has been changed to display the playlist after the completion of the reading, the user needs to point to the playback before the start of the playback)
3, the optical, coaxial and sometimes inverted the output of the issue of
4, to enhance the readability of some of the disk 5, other engineers believe that the need to improve the issue of

Another bug?

Gapless playback doesn’t work when playing from stored (favourite) tracks.
I understand that the mechanism needs to jump between tracks when the order is custom, and that can take time. But even when the programmed tracks are consecutive on the disc, there’s still a delay — a noticeable gap.

For example, I have an audio CD with 10 tracks. I want to play them in this order: 4, 8, 10, 2, 3.
Tracks 2 and 3 are next to each other on the CD, so they should play gaplessly — but instead, there’s a big pause.

You're right, maybe @Kogut is asking too much, this is a "niche" functionnality...
Even if I'm not really concerned about gapless, even on the very few "concept" albums where there's no gaps, the gapless playback has to work on this CD player, as other players do.

Yeah, sure — many CD players can do that. It’s not a “niche” feature at all.
For example, my Atoll MD100 always plays consecutive tracks gaplessly, even when using a programmed order.

In the past, I’ve also owned players like the Myryad Z210, Rega Planet 2000 and Sony CDP-S37. All of them handled this without any issues.


EDIT: Sorry, I was wrong about the Atoll MD100 — there is a very short gap after all.

Anyway, I’d be very satisfied with the DM13 if all the fixes in the new firmware turn out well.

Edit : updated without a hitch but brightness started off in the dimmest position upon restarting. And after a checking the firmware shows v27. The brightness also started off in the dimmest position a few times when powering on and off

Is it still possible to revert to FW V25 with no risks, if there is a serious issue with V27 ?

Tested V27 in Bluetooth.
Gapless playback is still an issue.
Tested with "Incubus - S.C.I.E.N.C.E.".

I had no problems upgrading from V22 to V25 and I’m following the exact same procedure, but now it doesn’t work...
