Unfortunately BTR7 has got rather noticeable output impedance (1.8-2.8 ohm), and it is a problem for me. Does anybody know similar BT receiver with Zout, say, below 0.5 ohm?
Dear friend,Started w the btr1...loved it ..got the btr5..loved it even more w the screen. Then changed to btr7 after using for 1 week....it's the worst UI. U can't pause a song without looking at the screen! And if I am playing Spotify on hp...paused it. Then go another app, pressing the play see button will not play the song! I must tap to have Spotify showing on the phone than the button works. After so many versions of btr how did fiio scree up so back w the UI of btr7? Real shame for a device that sounds good. Terrible terrible UI on the go. Didn't expect it to be like this. Would have returned this if I have not sold my btr5.

U can't unless the screen is ok. 1st click will only wake up the screen. The. U need to click again to pause. Then to play u need to click once to wake up the screen. Then click again to play. Is there a way or setting to click n play/pause without havin to wake the screen first? U should try it. After a week the buttons are useless. It's just easier to pause from hp screen. Pressing the button without the waking up the screen first doesnt pause the music.Dear friend,
You could click the multifunctional button to play/pause the music when connecting via Bluetooth mode:
Best regards
btw it will be great if set to wae up at any button, it will activate the function and screen show the pause/play icon when you play or if change volume, the vol nos appear lie the btr5 showing what it is. and if song skipped...3 arrow appears ( e.g ) to show song has been skipped...when the wake at any button was selected.U can't unless the screen is ok. 1st click will only wake up the screen. Problem solved: the buttons setting was at wake screen for any buttons. I change it to wake screen w power buttons only. Now it works. Thanks
anyone noticed that when the btr is first powered up, at about the 30sec mark of playing, there is a very very short slip in the music, its like to the note at the moment will be stretched alittle. it happens almost everytime i during the 1st song after power up when in am listening in a quiet enviroment and not multitasking. then it doesnt happen again. until next power up again. not a big issue as its very subtle and only happens once each time i power up. but it is consistent. always happens. anyone had this too? listening on s23 ultra....btr7....monarch mkiii)
Perfect description..it's like a millisec fast forward or slow Down of the song. noticaable...but only ONCE after unit turns on almost everytime. ( and i suspect for times it 'doesnt' its becos i am on the go...so didnt notice) always about e +/- 30sec mark.I noticed this also, same little bug like connection is slowing down then the song trying to catch up the rythm so like you hear fast forwarded song for 1 second.
Happen occasionally to me after turned on the BTR7
Samsung S20+ with BTR7 with any IEMs i have
Which codec and bitrate, also it it offline material or streamed.
Can't say I have ever noticed anything with LDAC 990kbps with Qobuz when connection is good, never with imported tracks.
Are you using Bluetooth Codec Changer by any chance?Samsung Galaxy S20+ playing apple music lossless (downloaded songs) connected to BTR7 with LDAC.
I am playing w ldac via s23ultra Bluetooth. Using phone default Bluetooth n didn't add anything else. Also experienced the issue. Are you using Bluetooth Codec Changer by any chance?
I cannot vouch that it helps in my case, but it sets preferred default codec and bitrate for configured devices. May be without one as Adaptive is default quality it can flip through bitrates adjusting based on reception quality. Just a guess. I set mine default to Audio Quality (909/990kbps).
That's what I was suggesting, instead of relying on default which is Adaptive bitrate, either go into Developers settings and lock it at 909/990 or use that BT Codec changer app. It might help. Also hope none of you are using that horrible Dolby Atmos, check if it's enabled in settings.I am playing w ldac via s23ultra Bluetooth. Using phone default Bluetooth n didn't add anything else.
