how do these compare against RE-400? Is it worth it if I get both or am I just basically getting the same sq for the price of two?

The re400 has less bass quantity. It might sound thin when compared next to the a65. The a65's bass has a warm tone to it and the mids are more upfront than on the re400. The re400 is more balance sounding. The treble on the a65 has a nice sparkle to it without becoming harsh. It's a very non fatiguing iem. And I would take it anyday than the re400. My only complaint is the cables rubber material. It becomes sticky after sometime. And the sticky rubber material will have breakage for some reason. I really love how it sounds though. I hope fidue will release a version 2 of this. And they should make it removable cable with the same connector as the mee m6 pro and alpha&delta ad01.
