Been there, done that. Had all of those tubes with Euforia, including a priced pair of brand new GEC 6AS7G with curve brown base that I bought from Stavros. The new Tung Sol 5998 which I bought from Vietnam is a favourite. So many nice tubes but they belong to another era as I'm onto Pentodes and 300b now.

I'm still using one of your earlier favorite combinations 5998's with Valvo EL11's as drivers on my Elise. Still sounding great. In Euforia it's H1's very last combination, also a great pairing.

It's ironic but it's with Elise and Euforia that I 'discovered' EL11, EL12 spez (H1 is to be blamed for that ) which ultimately led me to have a custom amp build for them. EL11 is very suitable as drivers, having an mu of 20, similar to the 6SN7.

EL11 and 5998 does sound great in Elise.

New tube user here....Came across a pair of Ken Rad black glass tubes (has 6F6 G on the glass) and noticed there's a pin missing. Reading through the most recent posts - do I need an adapter to use these with the Euforia?

Wow 6F6G is favoured here. It's a standard power tube in my new tube amp - Ultima. This is a beautiful, beautiful sounding tube. Similar tonality with 6v6, 6y6 but a little sweeter to my ears.

Totally agree. Valvo EL11 mesh plate are among the best driver tubes for Euphoria. Like a Sylvania badboys on steroids.

Not quite unobtainable UT. I managed to come by both Telfunken and Valvo mesh plates. Valvo's dating from 1939. Needless to say both are keepers

EL39 are superb in Euphoria. They provide a very analog tonality , great staging and impactful low-end presentation.
Those GEC QA2408 (B65 special quality) might also be a little rare.

That is a superb combination. It's an enigma to me that Euforia sound so good with such tubes. Defies logic.

The Euphoria accepts so many kinds of tubes with adapters it's ridiculous. That's the point when you really start to love your amp.

GEC KT66 + Marconi 6v6g is a great mid focused roll for Atrium open.

Telefunken 6080 have a natural decay to them. A forgotten and underrated tube. Many American tubes were labeled as these. So be careful of fakes.

@LoryWiv was right about 6Y6 tubes. Great synergy with the amp. Somehow different manufacturers sound quite the same to me. Need to give those more time maybe.

You have lovely tubes there @Renexx . A year and a half on, I'm still captivated by my GEC KT88, EL34 metal base, Tung Sol 6550, GEC KT66. Lately I had so many 6y6, 6f6 for Ultima. You're right. When an amp plays well with so many tubes, you will love it.
