Feliks-Audio EUFORIA - A Wolf in "Sheep's" Clothing...

Super interesting, I haven't heard of the Klassik either, but it seems it was brought up here in May last year. If I were to guess it's an AE on the inside but with the old matte color instead of gloss.
It's an Evo in the original Euforia chassis

quite a huge thread with a lot of useful information. Can I find something like list of compatible tubes for Euforia? which are compatible, adapters and so on so forth..
Natively you have 6SN7 driver tubes and 6N13S power tubes. Without adapters that's pretty much it.

However with adapters you have Tons of options. The driver tubes can be replaced with 12au7 (even tho nobody ever does that here)
And you can replace all tubes with basically anything from KT88-KT150 and EL34 families, the onlx important part is that the overall amperage requirements of all 4 tubes doesn't exceed 6.4A

That means 4x KT88 is fine but for KT150 you can only use 6SN7 drivers

Also, you can exceed 6.4A for your heater current, if you use external power. This can be with powered adapters, or with powered socket savers.
True with external power source the limitation is primarily the size

but how it's possible? I mean such a huge range of tube rolling...I never faced tube amp like this...

p.s. few weeks ago I had chance to compare euforia and envy at my home rig. Same cables, dac... same headphone T+A SolP. If Euforia can properly power HP then it's absolute bargain and I decided keep Euforia instead go for envy.... for my taste it's even better in technical performance. All tubes were stock and envy in performance option.

So in theory could you adapt 300B to the amp? :open_mouth: I've only done KT88 since I've seen it on the thread, and now waiting on EL34 for drivers after your idea the other day. Which I think should bring the total to 6.2A.

No you can't use 300B tubes, those are directly heated unlike all the other used tubes which are indirectly heated.

Also the required Voltage would be different

EL34 tubes as per ThanatosVI's idea + Deyan adapters for them are in :sunglasses: right off the bat a noticeable change is that the hum I used to hear starting at the 4th-5th volume dot and higher is gone which is nice. I can just barely notice it now when the amp is full volume if I'm listening for it, but I'd never have it that high anyway. Really like what I'm hearing as well compared to the 6SN7 tubes I've tried with KT88, bigger and more detailed sound :dt880smile:

Welp I've read far too many pages of this thread and just pulled the trigger on a slightly used Euforia AE. Thanks to all for all your comments and thoughts. Looking forward to placing it next to my WA-22 and comparing how the same tubes sound.
That's an interesting comparison. Please let us know in detail.
The Euphoria really shines with NOS tubes. I'm especially interested how different tubes can scale the amp.

Those Sophia tubes look absolutely gorgeous. How do they sound? I've been thinking of picking up a pair for my WA6SE.

I have decided to sell my Euforia - if anyone is interested, the offer is in Classifieds.

Happy Easter to you all. :)
