I don’t want to say too much too early because my immediate impression was different to what I thought after 30 minutes.
The drivers are Brimar branded but made by Sylvania. I have some RCA I will try next. I need some proper driver tubes.

Yup, that was my plan and I never used the supplied tubes after an hour or 2. Elrogs we’re here before my Envy and I never looked back!
What should i aim for tubes ( Elrog etc ) that price friendly

How price friendly? Everything that is considerably better than the stock performance tubes is considerably more expensive.
On driver side, best value is 6j5 or CV6/7193 with adapters.

At least in the US with shipping the Elrog ER are about $1500 as are the Western Edition. I don't have Elrogs yet, but for a lot cheaper the JJ 300b at $400 are my next favorite tubes after the WE.Around USD 2.000
