We could not add the AptX adaptive for the M11Plus and Qualcomm has confrimed AptX adaptive would not be added for Snapdragon 660.So unless Qualcomm could add the support or we could not get it work.

No one seems to be able to get the 1.0.1 firmware update to work. It says “invalid firmware image”. No comment from FiiO on forums.Fiio.com and no response from support@fiio.com

Sorry for the late reply since we were moving to the factory in the last few days. The link in the forum has been updated to full firmware package so it could theoretically work now.

Are the M11 Plus LTD and new M11 Plus ESS the exact same size and dimensions? Will a silicon case for M11 Plus LTD fit on a M11 Plus ESS?

It has worked for me. It’s the ESS I have and this cover says it’s for LTD. They are meant to be identical.
@FiiO After bringing LHDC to the UWTS5, is there a plan to bring LHDC to the M11 Plus series? I would be interested in Bringing my Midnights to wireless, but not without LHDC or LDAC is a must at least for me.

I'm getting mixed messages about this from different responders at FiiO. From what I understand about Android 10.0, there should be no reason for them not to add LHDC.

That is also my problem. There is no mentioning in the spec sheet while reviewers list LHDC as a feature. As an apple-user I only have one android-device (M11+ ltd.). So I'm only willing to buy the utws5 when I can use it with a mid-tier IEM (midnight) to get decent Soundquality. AirPods are enough for the use with lossy codecs.

Just now, I use my UTWS5 and IEMs with a KB8P aptX Adaptive transmitter. Sounds pretty good actually. I’m looking forward to comparing with LHDC but wondering if I’ll be able to tell the difference.
That would depend mostly on the IEM. If the IEM is able to transform the faster transients you should notice a subtle difference. From your IEM-List I would think, that the timeless may be capable of displaying that difference. The FH5s is unknown to me, so I can't estimate its capabilities. But it depends all on the training status of your ears or better known as hearing-experience, the source material (record and mastering quality) and the DAC/Amp-Section.
I remember having issues with the Bluetooth Receiver mode on the M11 Plus LTD, have this been fixed.
The issues was having delays up to 1s which made watching concerts or even use it for meetings very hard.
USB DAC mode worked fine but Bluetooth Receiver mode, only with large latency.
