Well, my family has always been an Irish Wolfhound family, as we got one when I was a little lad, and we're onto our second now. His name is Baron, he is 15 months old and 120lbs. The average male size is 165lb, so he's a little small, but that's fine. He's so cute and we love him!

So, what about you guys?

My Dog's a King Charles Cavalier. It's the best dog I've had and is really playful!

My family has a twelve year old Keeshond named Striker. Very smart, very friendly, great looking--best family dog anyone could ask for. Unfortunately I don't have a picture to post.

I'm a mutt fan too. Mid-sized, sporty, and pointy-faced over round/box-faced.

Mutts apparently have fewer deleterious recessive gene problems, due to less inbreeding.

Field stock English Springer Spaniel (look for a lot of Saighton blood, please). Maggie is blocky and solid, head through body, but TRUE BLUE and a wonderful girl. Rosie is more elfin, finer featured, lithe and quick, and quite the dominatrix. She appears at 5 weeks of age at our meeting on my current avatar ("Are you my Rosie?")

An extremely honorable mention to Brittanies; Jenny - Best Girl Ever!

Trounce: Nice looking boy! Wonderful "brown-eyed look". Bet he already plays you like a fiddle!

While our favorite dog is the Rottwieler we don't have one.
We have this pound puppy. She is supposed to be part Vizla (sp). This is the smartest dog I have ever had.
