I heard that these types of dogs are so burned out after a couple years on the racing circuit that they can require, and can only handle, 15 minutes of exercise per day. I was hoping this wasn't true, and it seems false after reading your post, but I wanted to make sure.
We have a greyhound in the area, and my Irish Wolfhound enjoys chasing her around, but she is always one or two steps ahead of him. But MAN, can these hounds put the pedal to the metal if they really want to.
