Had a cocker spaniel when I was a kid. Nice dog, though a bit over-protective of me (i.e. tried to chase away my friends half the time).

Far as just appearance, my favorite would be a Siberian Husky, followed by Golden Retrievers and Pugs. I think the only one I could really deal w/ right now is a Pug, though, since I don't spend nearly enough time outdoors.

Black labs. My dad is a semi-pro dog trainer in his spare time, we have 3 full breed black labs, here is a pic i found on google, this one is female, our 3 are male, very amazing creatures. Anyone that tells you dogs don't have emotions is a crazy man.

wE had an Irish wolfhound. Unfortunately she got a cancer in her leg, and my dad put her to sleep. (parents are vets). We had jack russel terriers too, they're smart and little. That means they were always sneaking out. Our current dog is a not-so-bright sydney silky.

Yea for Team Irish Wolfhounds! We should have Headfi-Dog meets. Maybe dogs can appreciate good cans too!

I'll host it.
Tomorrow, my back yard. Remember to bring pooper scoopers and leashes. Thanks.

Golden Retrievers are pretty big dogs fully grown. I don't think they break easily.

Uh, golden retrievers aren't necessarily small.
I'd have to say that yellow labs are among my favorite.
