Depends on what I want out of it....

Tweakability and PMP style player: Cowon D2

Pure sound quality: Sansa Fuze (better than Clip cuz of colour screen + expandable storage).

I'm perfectly content with my Cowon S9 for now

As for a serious answer, I still prefer my iriver h320. After all these years still alive and kickin', wooo!

I'm still loving mine! 32GB CF mod + 2200mha battery + Rockbox = Greatness.

Might hunt down a H120 as well to "complete the set".

I am loving my E10, it's the best mp3 player I 've own.
In my opinion it nukes the iFP series in sound.

I am suprised that E10 is not on the list..

I have the Cowon Q5W for the big screen & capacity (60GB), also for some extra side-features

My July 2005 C-net Editors' Choice Award-winning Sony NW-HD5 Silver, along with a matching RM-MC40ELK remote and cling wrap-modded MDR-EX90SL IEMs.

Nothing like 20 GB and (a then unheard of) up to 40 hours of life per charge from a removeable/replaceable LiIon battery. How can you beat that???

20 GB will do fine (until I can upgrade it to 40 GB, which will be hopefully soon), with everything in ATRAC3Plus 64kbps it is just the right balance of good SQ and handling capacity for me.

I chose other because my current portable of choice is my iPod Mini, it's old school and fun. Also well built to the point where I'm not afraid of it breaking if I drop it on accident. And then, even if I do drop it, I can get a replacement for it for under $100 and just move the CF card.

The list is way too short.

I still like my H120 a lot but i haven't been using it lately, because I was mostly using it at work and now i use the F40 at work. Our bandwidth is pretty lame so i can't just stream from my server at home.

For fit & finish i think the S series gigabeats beat the tar out of the F series, though battery life suffers (Even in the original windows mobile OS) and there's very little potential for an upgrade battery. It's all quite tight in there, and while the cameron-sino replacement has a higher mAh rating, batterybench doesn't seem to show much of a difference.

The S60 is smaller than my H120, has a big bright color LCD that you can watch tiny movies on, and ought to be able to accept a 120gb drive, no problem.

Does a full 30fps for 320x240 mpeg2, rockboy runs most gameboy roms at their original speed with almost perfect sound effects, gonna see if i can make an LOD for it.

But unlike the H120 (which now has a 32gb CF card and a 2200mAh battery), it won't run for most of a week without seeing external power.

I'm trying to fit an S30 with a 32gb CF card, which may improve battery life. It's unknown whether this will work at all.

Oh, rockbox all around, of course.

I have most of two H320's here but both of them seem to have issues with the power management circuits. Also an H10 that seems to need a new battery. And that F20 i'm sortof selling. And two more S30's.
