Hey folks,

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce @CartrKellr - you may see some answers to questions from him sometimes when I can't attend to something.
He'll be supporting me for FatFreq & PluSound-related topics.

I'll let Carter do an intro for himself when he sees this!
Hey Everyone! Super excited to help out. Im currently working more on the studio/pro-audio side of things, but am proud to be a part of the audiophile community :o2smile:

I happy to answer any questions you have and help out in any way I can!

I have Mini coming in to me in few days. Which eartip goes well with them. Any suggestion would be appreciated

For my « standard » shaped ear-canals, the Symbio W Peel make wonders from a comfort and balanced sound perspective

Time for an update after a few weeks and approx. 200 hours spent with the FF MM.

I let the 🔥-in topic aside and just say that these babies sound very good out any source with I have at hand, let them by warmish or neutral.

My daily driver at the moment are the FF MM, the ISN EST50 and the Penon Serial. Bassy sets. Yes, but all with their own flavors and almost similarly priced. Hybrid, Tribrid or 3DD, all immensely enjoyable. The FF MM win in pure bass-power, but the Serial take the edge when it comes to feel your tunes in the analogue-way-of-life. The EST50 are a bit more colored and slightly V-shaped that the FF MM, but scales like monsters out of the Lotoo DAPs and win the drag race, provided NOS is allowed on the back seat.

Good times for basshead boys & girls!

Acoustune AET07 and JVC Spiraldots are my favs I've tried.

The Symbol Ws are my personal favorite with the MM as well! Most balanced out of all of them for sure.

Yep, very good ear-tips and pretty affordable vs. some other popular ones.

Expensive but honestly, the Azla Crystals have worked wonders for the Minis for me. Although, I have some SednaEarfit MAXs coming in tomorrow to see if those sound proper with the minis as well. One of my biggest pet peeves is the lack of mesh grill so these have one built in. I'm hoping these work, I'll report back tomorrow.

Hello everyone! I was just curious to know everyone's thoughts on whoever owns the MSE/MM. Do you consider these basshead IEMs? I've seen a comment or two talking about the MSE's mid bass as not being up to par especially when comparing with the EE Legend X however in my personally experience it's quite hard hitting for me (I'm talking skull pounding bass) to call it a basshead iem but I'm very curious to hear your thoughts on this. Just a curiosity. Looking forward to hearing your experiences and thoughts, thank you!

They are definitely bass head IEMs but they're so well controlled that for some people maybe they'd miss the bigger mid bass from something like Legend X? I personally prefer the Maestro SE bass over any other "bass head" territory IEM I have heard. It's so damn addicting.

I have the universal version, they require an enormous amount of power, but I've never heard anything quite like them.

It's not just the bass. The entire range is outstanding.

Yep, I absolutely love this set. There’s literally nothing like it that I’ve heard, hearing that much sub bass done by a DD is just an entirely different experience for me.
