Guys,

Are there any known FAKES/COUNTERFEITS of the Ultrasone Pro 750???

The seller is a powerseller, but I am afraid I might be running into a trap, please help me.

Is there anything I could ask before buying to make sure they are real?

Maybe ask for some actual pictures from the seller? I honestly haven't heard of any fake 750s but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I bought mine for close to the same price and they were real. They sounded just like the ones I auditioned.

I just been around ebay for too long to not recognize a fishy deal, if they were an authorized dealer, then sure I would buy, but, they're not, so...

It was from another head-fi'er who purchased them from an authorized dealer for a little bit more, I got them for $180. If they aren't authorized and/or you don't feel comfortable, I wouldn't deal with them. Your best bet is to check around the FS forums. The average going price for a used but good condition one goes for around $200 or less.

No ultrasones on ebay carry warranty because ultrasone won't honor it.
 
Get a promise from the dealer that they are both brand new and authentic inside ebay private message. If they are fake you can just complain to ebay and that seller will have to give you your money back.

I've seen them go for around that price BIN on ebay before, so it isn't that sketchy.

I can't imagine that they would make fake Ultrasones--they aren't well-known enough for it to be worth it.

hodgjy,  I'm the guy who posted the other day.  I also posted on FH.  If there's anything fishy with these it's not me.
 
Kdarcia007, I ordered a pair which will ship on Monday.  I just checked ebay and the auction has ended with three still available.  Not sure why, but maybe I'm just a lucky SOB and it was a pricing error and they ended the auction to correct it.  That's what I'm hoping for anyway
