Fake Sony V6's?

I can't help but be bothered by this statement. Are you some sort of counterfitting expert who can attest to profit margins made on counterfit products? I am not, so I'd rather not make such wide-ranging statements.
 
I can, however, assume that since counterfit products exist, there IS a profit margin to be had from them. I'd imagine its good, too... because they often counterfit popular items with low quality (read=cheap) materials and have very little in terms of overhead (little to no R&D, marketing, hiring of low-pay employees in 3rd world countries, no other business-related expenses) costs and thus, reap high profits. I'd wager to say said counterfitters are quite wealthy.
 
Or... they could be massive idiots, as you so astutely and eloquently put it.
