Does anyone hear about fake monster turbine pro copper? I saw a seller's selling these headphones for just $249 on ebay. That's about $100 cheaper. How to distinguish a genuine turbine pro and a fake one?

Well, if they say "Cooper" then they're fake

Many got some from Dell recently at $174, so I wouldn't be too worried.

Correct. No warranty.

The warranty is awesome, try to find a pair from an authorized dealer, such as J&R or onecall.com (use the "my price" option).

you can buy it from onecall for $225 if you offer it right. also, ive just got pm'ed from some guy who said that the b&h system glitched and gave him the pair of $299 phones for only $230 when he checked out and he was able to repeat it too. you might wanna give it a try. if you want to save even more, bing.com offers 3% cashback for both of these websites.

Small tip, if you're gonna put fake in the title and you're asking a question it helps to not freak people out if you put a ? At the end. It just looks like a statement that fakes exist

anyway some authorized dealers sell the coppers for 225-250 usd too and with the dell pricing, those ebay listing should be true

I just don't see the ROI on faking the turbine pro. I do suggest buying only from an authorized dealer to preserve the lifetime warranty, if that's important to you. Like Kunlun already explained, any eBay offering, not matter what it says in the auction description is bogus on the warranty. IMHO, they are indeed worth the discount admission price. My MTPC gets better the more I use them.
