Which colors did you choose? Really wish @FiiO had also in gray the abstract scheme, they look cool or even better in teal green turquoise or a light shadow of green like sea green or.light blue

I am also considering a fiio M3K for portable DAP, as.i find my sony WM1A,.makes my bag heavy enough to cause discomfor when going out to work /integration courses

I was about to ask about taming the bass, will try these , thanks. Additionally will try the EQ to fix the supposed mid recession on the IER-Z1R (tried it with the afore mentioned iem and didn't like it)

Tried them both, the Harman target EQ made then sound lifeless and boring with almost no body in the bass

The usound target EQ has a better, has some body to the bass but itis congestion-free, they sound good for classical.

I am still trying to EQ them on my sony DAP
Just want them to sound perfect, guess 60mW of the SE output doesn't cut it compared to the pentaconn 4.4mm output with 250mW.

By the way you have a FA1 how does it compare to FA7?

Did some tip rolling, the best tips for me are those labeled as vocal, the foamies and the silicone tips from my IER-Z1R.

Bass tips worsens the veil the FA7 poses
Normal.tips have this hollow sound mid bass emphasis.

Vocal tips remove the midbass hump, while retaining this nice subbass thump and adds.more clarity to.mids and highs.

Foamies have more subbass presence with added clarity on both the FA7 and the Z1R, I've tried comply foamies with my IER-Z1R and the sound muddy with recessed highs and mids making them sound veiled.
