I know I said I wouldn’t buy the IEx00 series because of the Fidelity+ (whatever it is) MMCX issues. However, just bought the IE200 for the 2nd time to compliment my Arya Organics. Problem is they sound great and reminded me how much soundstage you can get with IEM’s. I’ve decided to let go of the AO’s and have bought the IE600’s (for the 3rd time) and the IE900’s (for the 2nd time). Part of me wants to buy the IE300’s just for kicks but finding a pair nowadays is difficult.

Part of the appeal is the absolute perfect, and I mean Perfect! fit for me. The form factor is awesome. I actually like the cables as well and and stock tips work great although I may buy a bulk of Spinfit W1’s again.

I hate this hobby 😂 (more crying than laughter 🤭)
Welcome back …. again :beerchug:

Yes, the fit of the IE600 is pretty much perfect for me too. The Final A5000 is a good fit too but the IE600 is my clear favourite in the fit department

That's because they're quite unique.
Even I thought about selling my IE600s, but when I listened to them again, I realised that there are no in-ear monitors that sound the same.
Basically, they're very good. You go to other iem, you listen to them again and you can say to yourself "yeah, it's good, but it's not that special". But when you listen to them more carefully, all their qualities come back.
Everyone has their own tastes, but when I read some people saying they didn't appreciate them any more than that, I sometimes think it's because they didn't take the time to listen to them, to get used to them.

When I got the IE600 I was so excited about the sound coming from a high end IEM, I thought what would even more money get me? So I got the Campfire Audio Andromeda Emerald Sea and wasn't impressed. I ended up selling the Andromedas and kept my IE600, the sounds is just so special. Part of me still wants to try more expensive IEMs, but the IE600 has spoiled me so much that I don't know its worth spending more.

Hello,

I ordered the S12Pro and Over Ear Momentum 4 a few days ago. From an audiophile perspective: Is the ie600 a small or a very big step up with the 2 I mentioned above? I know strange comparison but I think the sound signature could be similar so I want to ask. I will use it for rock / metal.

I know it is a bit brighter. Would you combine onyx alpha (warmer) or Ibasso dc07 pro (neutral) with it? Maybe onyx but Ibasso looks more like high end.

I used Sony 4000 over ears LDAC etc before getting the IE 600 , now paired with Qudelix 5K LDAC 990kpbs, and the clarity and separation of instruments, and the wider soundstage couldn't be better than the Sonys...My brain is also so burned in with the IE 600 that it's hard to use the Sonys now without tutting along to the muddiest by comparison.

I have the IE600 and S12 Pro.

In my opinion the IE600 is not a step up from the S12 Pro at all unless you happen to personally prefer the IE600. They are not hugely different and depending on the mood and the music I sometimes prefer the S12 pro and sometimes I prefer the IE600.

Frankly, if I could have auditioned them both for an hour I probably would only have the S12 Pro.

Makes the Sennheiser IE600 seem like a way overpriced iem. Don't know how this is even possible at 1/3rd the price?

Free Talk Friday(a bit of fun)
My audio journey..
My best headphone audio was overear Sony XM3000 .... did online research, said to myself yes, ie600, this is the bang buck audio out there, looked at the reviews that said "it's actually better than the ie900" (ignored the annoying couple of reviews that said "the 200 is as good as the 600!!!") . So I did "review brain burn in" , got them delivered, burned brain in away from the Sonys over a week,,, this is the best,,, but,,,, then i didnt have an amp and how can your brain ignore the fact that you're not getting the best from the phone chip... ok ok,,not the best yet...back to reviews brain burn,,,ok ok : Qudelix,,great chips,,and best PEQ,..the best EQ... big beautiful EQ,,,ok ok I LOVE EQ,,, Qudelix delivered,, ie600 now as good as iems as I'd want to get.
FIN.
p.s.that Questyle M15i tho. 🤔 😟

Hi all, currently looking through the forum trying to find opinions on side-grades for the IE600. These have been my absolute, hands down favorite IEM in all categories from fit to sound. Just want to know how I can side-grade to find something that sounds almost the exact same, I am willing to give up a bit of the fit. Any ones that immediately come to mind?

Try the IE600, it'll sound so close that you won't be able to tell the difference and you won't have to compromise on the fit. :)

What I'm saying is, why want something similar if you already have what you like?

Honestly? Because I have had to RMA them 2 times and I do not want to have to do it again.
