Anyone ever try the effect audio cables on the IE 600 or 900 or 300? I have the Ares S and think it would pair well. I'm just unsure about the MMCX connector. The version I have is two pin but I can order the effect audio set which also has the MMCX.

Yep, this was discussed several times. You can also use the Search function.

Some people have reported success with some cable manufacturers mmcx and these so it is possible.

does senny make their own adapter? I am wary of a cheap chinese product that might break inside the IEM.

Ive been using the IE600 for the last months and Im completely hooked into it.
All I want to do is listen to music, all the time. Its been lovely with sony wm1am2

Nonetheless i will be going to japan next year and inevitably to e-earphone.

What other iems would be considered a upgrade from the ie600 that I should try?
I listen to metal and hardcore with a strong eq 95% of the time.

I have both I'm going to A&B them when I get a new cable from effect audio.

I can't say that U4s are a big upgrade from the IE600. I love them, but the IE 600 punch well above their weight class since they've been able to be bought for 499. The U4S are great and I love the tuning system. But to upgrade noticeably from the IE600 you're going to need to look further up the food chain.

I'm still incredibly happy with the IE600. Never had an iem with such coherent sound with incredibly resolution and clear sound. Very tight bass aswell in my opinion also, very comfortable. I'm not gonna selling any tike soon.

But maybe you guys could help me because I'm looking for a complementary iem to the IE600 something, with a bigger soundstage and imaging, with a more smooth sound, with a more physical bass, with a more engaging and enticing sound, a more atmospheric experience don't mind be less resolving, where should I look for this type of sound?

Instead of spending money on another IEM you might look into pairing your IE600 with a different cable that could give you some of the same things you’re looking for. Lavricables, Moon Audio and Effect Audio all make cables with mmcx connectors that fit the recessed sockets on the IE600. I personally own the Eros S cable from Effect Audio and they do help with opening up the soundstage on my IEM.

I would not try and fix a headphone with a cable in my opinion.

The campfire Andromeda tick most of your boxes except for the physical bass. I am of the opinion that a good DD delivers the best bass in iems so if that is a deciding factor then hopefully someone else will chime in with a better suggestion.

Can a cable change that much a sound of an iem? Because I'm looking for a different experience that IE600 offers.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm gonna look some reviews on the andromeda.
When I say physical bass I meant when the ie600 is very controlled I want more of expansive and immersing bass that reaches deep into sub bass with speed and thunder  ( I'm not the best to describe sound)

Ah I was thinking that you wanted something that would help enhance your IE600 experience. If you are looking for something different you should research the 64 Audio Nio and the 64 Audio U4s.
