Thanks, that’s something to think about! What you described is a common issue when the nozzle filter gets clogged due to moisture buildup. It often occurs in highly humid areas or during exercises or after a bath, where the ear canal becomes warmer than usual. The moisture traps in the filter cloth, subsequently blocking the airflow.
In some good cases, leaving the earphones without tips in an airtight case with silica gel packets for a few hours can help eliminate the moisture, and the imbalance might be resolved. But claiming the warranty is the best idea indeed.

That's what warranties and liberal return policies are all about. So hard to predict but I would say you have a very high chance of getting something that works out of the box.Hey guys, I’m planning on buying an IE600 to take advantage of the ongoing sale and I wanted to ask you all a few questions. How is the quality control on the IE600? How many of you had it over a year as of now?
I’ve only read about the driver failure on a couple of units and some even having the plastic connector holder come off completely. I need to know what are my chances of getting a working unit that won’t fail on me in the long run. Thanks!!

Does the pure silver spice up the treble bit more? share the link of seller. thxreceived 2 days ago, tested and work fine.
According to the seller, it is a 8 cores pure silver 4 N cable. Cost me less than SGD $40 about $30
It does not really 'spice up' the treble but you can feel it is slightly elevated compare to the stock cable.Does the pure silver spice up the treble bit more? share the link of seller. thx
To play safe, you can consider their sliver plated cable.
It is soft and does not have cable memory. Compare to the stock cable the microphonic sound improve a lot. Hardly notice it when using it.
I bought it from my local online shop.

However, you can find this seller (XINHS HIFI STORE) in AliExpress too.
Do leave a note that you need the IE 600 MMCX conntector.
It comes with a nice casing big enough for you to put a dongle and extra cable.

Effect Audio's ConX MMCX works really greatxeith the IE 600. Not totally flush but fits tight and snappy. No spinning, looseness nor slip ups. Here's how it looks with the Griffin -

Been rolling tips for a while now and I think I have settled on the final audio e type tips. I get a good seal, bass remains tight and they tame the high end just enough.

I like those too, the reviews say the supplied tips are good but I preferred the Final E tips for similar reasons.
The supplied tips do sound good but I could not get a reliable seal with them so I have been on a bit of a journey to try and find the most suitable alternatives.

Any Bluetooth adapting talk here? Someone's used the fiio utws5 with ie600 on a separate headfi thread and says it's good. Also the fiio seems review as the best around but it's been out 2 years so you might expect that the next leap might be on the way so would hold on till then

From FiiO:
1. UTWS15 ((NEW), expected to be available in the fall
The UTWS15 is the upgrade model of the UTWS5. The core architecture of the UTWS5 is still the one with the best sound quality among TWS products, because ordinary TWS products still choose the integrated DAC, which has weaker audio performance than the independent HiFi DAC used in the UTWS5. Even for the new TWS from vivo, we later got to know it used an independent DAC because it is attached to the noise cancellation function, but not using it for better sound quality like us.
So, the main progress of the UTWS15 is in some details of the experience, such as the size and weight of the charging case, the size and weight of the ear hook, as well as the new design of the contact connection. Old UTWS5 users are not necessary to upgrade it.
