I ordered my IE600 on June 26th from The Source AV here is SoCal. Received them on the 29th. Great service.

These sound incredible. I love the clean, tight bass. Even though they are most certainly V shaped in sound profile, the mids are present enough. The highs are always what the song needs them to be. As far as sound goes, I would say the only area I would like a little more is slam/impact. While they are improved in this area over my 7hz Timeless (by a little), they are not up to the impact of say a Zen Pro. Though, to me, they are easily better than the Zen Pro at everything else. If the trade off is clean tight bass VS more impactful bass, I will take the deal. They made the right choice.

My other early concerns were- A: I needed a 2.5mm cable and I could only find the Sennheiser version for these over seas and I did not want to pay/wait for those. Also the factory cable is just okay overall. B: Ear tips, Would the factory tips fit me? Can I use other tips and get the sound I want?

Short ish answers- A: I Ordered a 'GU Craftsman 5N OFC Silver' cable from Amazon. I love it, cable 'issue' solved.
B: This might turn out to be a deal breaker, I have not made up my mind. The factory tips sound and fit great. But they are very expensive and not readily available at the moment. I did found them in Europe for $30 including shipping (more like $45 domestically!) I tried a bunch of other tips. Including the Ostry OS300 tips, which also have a filter on the tip. These sounded the closest to stock, but with 20% reduced bass (in my ears remember) and more 6~8k treble. This is an important note because these Ostry tips add a TON of bass to everything else I have tried them on. In fact all of the tips I tried reduced the bass a noticeable amount. If you like the IE 600 and want an alternative tip with a little less bass and still retain the filter, the OS300 may work for you. Or the other slightly less bassy Ostry options, OS100 & OS200.
Why a potential deal breaker? While I don't mind having to use only one proprietary OEM tip, the price is ridiculous for some little pieces of silicone honestly. And the current availability is beyond poor. @Sennheiser do you think the regular price will be $45? (Please don't reply with 'the dealer sets the price' answer) Or more like $30?

Great job on these @Sennheiser. They are really superb overall.

can you share a link for the cable? I thought you need some kind of an adapter.

the reviews say that the connector is bad

You are right. I must not be able to hear the music coming out of my IE 600. I need to have my hearing checked. It is a good thing you found those TWO reviews, (and overlooked the 5 positive reviews on the same page) otherwise I would have ever known about my hearing condition.

On a serious note what is the point of copying and pasting those two reviews here? There are only 9 ratings total for this item. May as well be zero ratings. Reviews on Amazon (positive or negative) aren't worth much anyway.

How's the sound quality ..
Quite good actually. It's been my preferred way of listening to the IE600 lately just because it's so convenient and as I mentioned before, the IE600 is pretty easy to drive and does not require a lot of power to sound good.

I don't feel like I'm missing any detail or information by using Bluetooth at all. When driven wired off my other dac/amps like Mojo2 or Gryphon it's more like a different flavor or preference than "better".

Been enjoying IE600 a lot with acoustic lately. I feel like they excel with their natural timbre and has that true "dynamic" sound.

I used ifi gryphon wireless ldac with iem, and it's very acceptable compare to wired connection. I am holding back this fiio because it does not run ldac with andriod phone (my assumption poorer sound quality).

But hearing ur comment that details are still present, maybe I will give it a try. It's not too expensive anyway and definitely will be better than TWS earbud in the market.

Yeah, I use the Gryphon exclusively with LDAC. It's so good, there's no point in running extra wires. Honestly, Bluetooth is getting so good I bet I wouldn't tell a difference with a blind A/B test.

For sure, this combo will beat any true TWS out there for sound quality. Especially great for side sleepers due to its size and fit and no wires.

I gotta agree with this. I talked about ie600 pairing with Gryphon before. It's great!

These babies got released in my country today, and I was among the lucky ones to get it in the first lot hehe. I have heard the IE900 and the IE300 before and man these sound wonderful. Yeah a sweet V-Shaped profile with tightly controlled punchy lower end, recessed yet rich and natural-sounding midrange, vocals just sound perfect, and not to mention the lively treble performance. Running these out of my new acquisition Shanling M7, and the background is dead silent(running through the balanced 4.4mm port). I have also used these with my HiBy R5 gen 2(Class A amp mode), but with the M7 these are a different beast altogether. These are just my initial impressions, will post a review after a while(obviously after spending more time with these). Please forgive me for adding these beautiful images below :)

I have yet to try this combo but have definitely heard rumblings (good ones) about the synergy 〰️

What track were you listening to? I tried to "enhance" but couldn't recognize it.
