For sure, that whole album gives me goosebumps, but figured I wouldn't ramble on here foreverGive Chris Cornell's cover of Billie Jean a listen.

Meh rambling about the music is why we spend the $$$ on audio equipment. God I miss Chris. Audioslave's self titled album is one of my favorite albums of all time. And one I can't wait to hear on the IE600 (there now we're back on topicFor sure, that whole album gives me goosebumps, but figured I wouldn't ramble on here forever![]()
RIP Chris. One thing I found quite cool about Redemption Song was the fact you can actually distinguish Chris backing up his munchkin, which generally I don't hear near as well on my other headphones.Meh rambling about the music is why we spend the $$$ on audio equipment. Thanks, very useful comments. I like a good soundstage wiht my iems and most people say that the ie 900 has and edge for SS and details compared to the ie 600…There is just a bit more bass in the IE600 compared to the IE900. The control and definition seem similar, but I can’t compare them directly since I don’t have a IE900 on hand. I listened to the IE900 for several hours about 3 months ago and even though I liked the headphone, it didn’t really click for me. It is near perfect, but its a little to bright for my taste. That said I would have bought one if it would cost in the region of the IE600, but now that the 600 improved on everything I didn’t like about the IE900, the IE600 suits my taste pretty well.
I would say, if you enjoy a tad warmer sound with crisp details, without sounding sibilant, the IE600 is perfect for you. It isn’t neutral, but that makes it such a pleasure.
It came on LTT Channel, not mainstream per-se but quite prominent nonetheless
Linus used to carry IE8-80-800 as His EDC before the sheer convenience of Airpods and apple's curse of nixing the 3.5 jack stop that habit.
All these years of Sennheiser sponsored vids doesn't make him an audiophile, but a tech guy that's pretty audio aware, appreciating good audio for what it is.

They hired one? Where did they announce it?I'm interested to see how their audio related videos will change since they hired "an audio guy" and might be getting a measurement rig in.
Around 7:18 in that IE600 video, he mentions it.They hired one? Where did they announce it?
Oh dang... I missed that completely lolAround 7:18 in that IE600 video, he mentions it.

How about Australia ? We were expecting it around the 3rd of May.Update: target pre-order date for IE 600 in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa is May 12th, with shipping release on May 24th.
If this changes we will provide an update here in the thread. Thx for your patience!
In their Twitter they also showed off a couple heads, I think they plan to make a video about which one is closest to human hearing and use that as their benchmark device.Oh dang... I missed that completely lol
I'm quite excited to see what they do.
