I just compared Elysian Annihilator 2023 to EE Raven. Since I cannot give an opinion here, I think of 2 pictures instead:

Is the techno viking listening to the Raven?

I have asked @Jack Vang this exact question, but have not gotten a response. I will be pissed and may even cancel the raven out of principal if they can't be honest about this.

Looks like the launch edition is now delayed for another 1-2w to resellers and standard edition doesn't even have an ETA. This is pretty disappointing that it was early sept, then mid sept, and now "hopefully" closer to Oct.

What?! Another 1-2 weeks?! After Jack posted saying they were shipping?!

@Jack Vang brother, what’s going on?

What do you think? 😉😅 I just wanted to show how different they are.
Just making sure. I haven't heard either yet, but they're both on the top of my want list :)

Am I the only one here who interpreted this comparison as the "Sleeping Shaq" meme?

As a "I don't know what to do with all this money in my bank account!!" option, Ode to Laura + Raven is one of those combos that makes me a true believer in cable magic. Bloom as a whole is slightly on the skeptical end with how much difference cables make, but our whole team and a number of people who did in store demos agree that running SP3000 + OTL + Raven is truly exquisite and an instantly noticeable difference from the stock cable.

Honestly though, you can get a good bit of the same impact from the Eletech Raphael (which I recommend as a "baby Ode to Laura") which only runs about $499.
Is the Raphael better than the default cable?

Thanks.

I’ve never heard Raven, but I heard OTL with Evo and Odyssey and those were fantastic pairings. Maybe there’s some synergy with how EE does bass, and the wonderful bass texture that OTL provides.

Yeesh, if true, this gets more and more worrisome.
Disappointing for sure if it is indeed further delayed, but I wouldn’t be too worried. This unfortunately happens all the time with flagship iem releases (across manufacturers), particularly in the last few years with all the supply chain craziness. These are small companies, making niche products. It sucks to get your hopes up and then have to wait longer, but I wouldn’t read into it too much. In my experience, EE always takes care of its customers and delivers great products in the end.
