Hey, just wondering if anyone else has tried Coureir brass tips on the Evo/Odyssey/Raven? I found that it enhances the bass. Surprisingly it does not effect the BCD effect much.
I find that the coureir improves some things, greater separation and extension of the highs which also become brighter, the bass does not seem to get worse but the subbass becomes more attenuated..
To my ear, the Velvets maintain more balance between frequencies and seem to have greater definition in the mid-bass..
The nice thing is that you can change tips depending on your preferences and mood...

Hello everyone,

Can some of you give me some information?

I'm looking for a TOTL Iem in 2024 which would be great for listening to different styles of music but also with good DD bass for electronics. I already have a good IEM for folk, classic, acoustic but I'm looking for an IEM really for electronic and bassier for this style.

I'm looking for a fairly neutral sound with a bass boost (sub bass...)
I prefer mediums that are too inflated.
The Monarch Mkii is I find a good balance with already a good rumble.
I eliminate the XE6 which sounds too warm in the low mids.

I'm considering the Grand Maestro, the Raven? Is it a good choice?
Any other ideas?

thank you very much to all

If u found MMK2 good balance with good rumble, and XE6 too warm, then the Grand Maestro is definitely the way to go (I have exactly your taste wrt the Mmk2 and XE6 and I have the GM).

This is prob one of my fav EE iems to date (prototype). I’ve bought a number of EE releases and this is prob one of its best competent and technical ratio of bass-clarity-treble extension without being sibilant. Gorgeous fp colour & comfortable… EE fans should keep a close watch out for its upcoming release.
