Not a shame at all. Unfortunately these are not the best days to do some audiction to help deciding. Keep an eye on the sale/trade area for used ones.

I think the Valky is a nice IEM with good highs and lows.

Yeah, TBH I’d be reliant on a trade plus cash my end which I can’t see happening. Like you say though, I’m not slumming it with the Valkyrie.

I really hate to do this...but just to speculate a bit about the Odin...if @Jack Vang and the folks at EE remain true to Norse mythology, the Odin should build upon the Valkyrie (in Norse mythology Valkyries served the god Odin).
So, I'd bet for sure EST + BA + W9. Just depends on the exact number of each and overall tuning. Maybe another 7-8 driver? 2 EST, 2 W9, 3-4 BA?

If it indeed is an EST-based tri-brid it will sound pretty distinct versus the LX (I have the Valk and LX and find them to be quite different)...

Hasnt arrived yet unfortunately shipping is slow these days. But will definitely share a comparison between the two and the Solaris & Z1R

For those that are into cables, what’s a recommended cable upgrade for the LX? Or will the stock EA cable be best?
