All my testing at CanJam was done via an iFi Go Blue or A&K HB1. I had the RU7 with me but didn't use it.

Also just heard some bad news, Pilgrim won't be available until June now as per an email from Musicteck.

That is bad news I’ll probably look for something else

Ok you clearly underpowered it by quite a margin. I use the Shanling H7 and I think it could use more juice even on med or high gain. I own the Ifi Go Bar and the Anni sounds flat using the dongle (the go blue is even less powerful).
Make sure to at least use the RU7 or something with more power

I did a review.

I have a head fi review somewhere. It's slightly bright, but sounds epic af. I fully love it and will compare to 400 dollar Noire when I get mine in a few days or so. Like I listen to it everyday, and it is extremely satisfying.

I have the normal one coming soon-ish. Will compare it with my Gaea. If we are neighbours, we could do an epic full line up review

Thanks for sharing the video! The Gran Maestro looks massive next to the Annihilator in your video. I really like the adapter cable you were using. Your description of the sound was great, especially considering the IEM doesn't have any major peaks or issues. The dip at 7kHz is intriguing. I was surprised by how similar the graph looks compared to the Chopin. Nice work

Nah I just have normal coming like everyone else! I don’t even know where the black Pilgrim is sold. Plus I’m kinda careful who I buy from.

Gm is weird is doesn’t go all the way into your ears, so it’s not that bad. Excited to hear your full review of the Pigrim!

I tried a Tanchjim Oxygen filter and loved the slight pina peak reduction making my own Noir version. Stock cable is wicked.

Together with the slight bass boost and listening to Tidal off the warmer Shanling M5 Ultra is just lovely.
