No I had the memory wire removed and the over mold done.

The wire is a little stiffer but I am not a fan of stock cable because I hate the memory wire.

I just got the Twag cables with the new overmolding yesterday. Just in time, too, as I will be going on vacation with the wife next week I was actually kind of worried because I received the Paypal notification of the package being shipped 2 weeks ago but I had not received it till yesterday. I am very pleased with it, it looks very professional and way better looking than the old connectors.
