Wynn bought a custom cable from me and was great to deal with from start to finish. He was patient the whole time and knew what he wanted. Communication was always fast and friendly, and he paid as soon as we had made a deal.
I highly recommend him to anyone.
Thanks Wynn!

Not Good
Made a trade, he received my cans, shipped to Canada, from US, in about 10 days. The IEM's for me, never arrived, after attempts to retrieve shipping info receipt became lost ????. Initial contact and transaction start 14 Oct 08, it is now, well, I think you get the picture. I think after almost two months I have been patient enough, bordering on naive.******Received my cans back today, iem's never did arrive, amazing how fast the mail is when you actually mail stuff*********Let it be clear that no money or product exchanged hands here, so technically feedback may not be mine to give. Wynn and I did agree to a deal on agreed terms, however, and he proceeded to string me along for quite some time, and I feel that it is valuable information for anyone to know before dealing with him.

Wynn had placed a rather large custom order from me. He had a pair of Denon D2000 and MarkL's wood cups sent to me for a full balanced recable in Jena CRYO wire, 2 XLR adapters, a pair of Jena labs XLR interconnects and a custom iMod LOD using Sonicap capacitors. Good thing I had everything sent via currier with full tracking (at double the cost I charged him).
Looks like he flipped the headphones at enough profit to keep the Jena XLR interconnects, Sonicap dock and 1 XLR adapter basically for free. Seriously not cool. I was quite pissed off at this tactic, not to even mention that he seems to be trying to scam somebody.
I got paid because I asked for bank transfer so I can't complain, but I'll never deal with him again, EVER.
Hope you guys get things resolved. If legal action is necessary, you'll be happy to know that Toronto has one of the absolute best digital crime squads in the country.

If the admins need his address, I have it on file.
Just for reference, for anyone dealing (or thinking about dealing) with Wynn: This is the sort of experience I had, all the PM's included:

Hi Wynn,
I signed up for an account here at Head-Fi, and I'm asking fellow head-fiers where I can find deals on the (SE530) cans! A user pointed me to your sale again - I was just wondering if you had sold them yet?
Thank you,
Graham
Nov 4th 2008
Hi,
It is not sold yet. I have sent it out for exchange, but I do not receive it yet. It is still available but there is already 3people are asking me for it. You may paypal me the money for the SE530 for holding it and I will ship it to you when I receive my SE530. It is going to be brand new with sealed I think. My paypal is [Mod Edit: email address removed], transfer the money to me if you are really interested, and I will hold it for you.

Hi wynn,
I can tell you now that I am serious and will purchase the SE 530's for $300 if you give me the opportunity. My question to you, is - could we arrange for local pickup? I'd love to have these in my hands sooner than later, and I assure you I'm just a 19 year old student who loves my ears . Let me know what you think. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Thanks Wynn!

Sorry, I am too busy in these days.
I am a gr11 student taking gr 12 computer course and I do business online. If you paypal me right me or ASAP, then I will end my thread so the SE530 will be on your hand. I don't have the date yet, I shipped it already but it takes about 6 more days, and they might have to confirm something and stuff. It might takes 2weeks. Again, my paypal isĀ [Mod Edit: email address removed]

Hi Wynn,
I'm uneasy about sending you money through paypal and then waiting such a long period of time to get the headphones. Maybe I could paypal you a deposit of some amount, and when the replacement arrives you tell me? If you are completely opposed to local pickup, then I guess you can ship it. You have my gaurantee though that I *will* purchase these headphones at $300 if you close your sale down - I just don't want to give up 300 dollars for what could be a few weeks. Again - I'd much rather do local pickup (you must live near a tim hortons you can stop at! I'll buy you a coffee lol), but if you really do not want to I guess you can ship it. In my opinion shipping takes more work on your end - for a local pick all you'd need to do would be to meet me somewhere for a few minutes .
What do you think Wynn? I'd love for us to be able to sort out a deal here. Thanks for everything!
-Graham
Nov 4th 2008
I will see, maybe we can do a local pickup.
Anyway, I would like to get at least 50% $ of the SE530. Well, you can give me more than that, it doesn't matter.
-wynn
Nov 4th 2008
I'd very much prefer a local pickup, yeah... To be honest, I've never bought anything online like this before, and I just feel like there is a possibility I could get scammed? Not that I don't trust you, but it just sucks that I'd have to paypal you like 150 bucks and then just sit around for 2 weeks until your SE 530's arrive. I wish there was an easy way I could show you I'm sincere, haha...
If we were in person we could just pass each other the "goods" (lol) and everything would be okay. It's not like ebay where I have paypal buyer's insurance. So, Wynn, I'll say this: For 300 bucks I'll buy your Shure SE 530's on local pickup. Honestly, if you feel a little uneasy or intimidated by a local pickup, feel free to bring a few friends along or we could meet in a mall 's food court or somewhere busy like that. You've given me a good deal on these cans and I truly don't want to pass up the offer.
Is my gaurantee good enough that I'll buy your headphones for 300 dollars? I'm a man of my word, and while that might not carry as much weight over the internet, I hope you trust me.
Phew, that was a lot to write. Let me know what you think Wynn!
Nov 4th 2008
I don't mind to have a local pickup.
Maybe weekend only tho, its because I am pretty busy, but still. Please send me at least 50% $ so I will hold the SE530 for you, or else, people will send me the money if they interested, then i have to sell it to them..
-wynn
Nov 4th 2008
Hi Wynn,
In your original forum post selling these, it sounds like you have the SE 530's already. Are they still away? Why are they away?
I'm still uneasy about this 50% deposit business. I don't know anything about you, and you potentially *could* just stop responding to my private messages, and then I would have to way to get back in touch with you. Is there anything you could do to ease my worries? Are you not confident that I will buy your headphones?
I think you would be best off selling these headphones to me - local pickup is easier and cheaper. I've already committed to purcahsing these, so please don't let them go now.
Nov 4th 2008
If you decided that, yes sure.
I will let you know when i received it back.
As I said before, I sent it out for exchange.
-wynn
Nov 4th 2008
Hey wynn,
I just wanna say thanks for responding so quickly. It seems we've chatted about this more than enough now
So, I will take it as this: If you accept, I gaurantee to you that I will buy your Shure SE 530 w/ PTH for $300 Canadian, local pickup, when you receive them back from Shure. You can choose the time and the location. I'd prefer if it was a weekend too! I'm not comfortable sending you 50% of the price through paypal before I get the item - I'm sorry, I just don't have any sort of insurance or anything there. If you are worried that I won't show up, or that I won't purchase the SE 530's, the best I can offer you is my word and gaurantee. My cell phone number is 519-591-0361, and my name is Graham. Call me any time if you want to talk about this in person!
I will pay you the $300 in person (cash, obviously :P) when we meet. I really hope this is okay for you. If you absolutely require a %50 deposit, then I will be quite upset and have to thank you for your time and decline your offer . If there is some alternative you can suggest that would make you feel better, feel free to let me know!
Thanks for everything Wynn! I really hope we can make this work (my crappy headphones that came with my iPhone sound like garbage).

Great, but it's 300 USD
It is about 375-400.
not sure, check the rate
-wynn
Nov 4th 2008
Hi Wynn,
Wow, what a big misunderstanding! I guess I just assumed that because you live in Canada, and because I live in Canada, that we were talking in Canadian dollars. As google says right now, 300 USD is 344 CAD. I've got dealers in the GTA that have quoted me at less than 344 CAD for the headphones. I've been talking to you because 300 CAD is a good deal that I really wanted. Is the price difference really that substantial to you? If you look at how the Canadian dollar has been changing the last week (74 cents -> 86 cents to the USD), I would expect that the dollar will be almost 95 cents to the USD by the time we meet. Of course, nobody can predict the stock market, but the trends do indicate that. [Comment as of this post Jan 15th 2009: How was I was, haha...] Would 300 CAD be okay? I thought it was that all along! By the time we end up meeting, 300 USD may be around 310-315 CAD.
Sorry for the confusion Wynn - I really thought we were dealing in CAD this whole time! Let me know what you think about what I've said.
Thanks Wynn.
-Graham

Hey Wynn,
I saw that you recently bumped your SE530's. Do you not want to sell to me anymore? I still thought we had an agreement. Do you have more than one pair of these headphones? Please let me know what's up. Thanks!
-Graham
Nov 9th 2008
Yes I do, no worries
Nov 9th 2008
Cool, thanks for the reassurance Wynn. When do you guess that I will be able to meet you to pick them up?

Hi again Wynn,
I am sorry about stuffing your inbox like this, but your lack of communication has me a bit worried. Like I said, I've never purchased anything online before so I'm not sure if this is the norm, but I still can't help it. Just shoot me a PM if you're still around. Thanks

Hi Wynn, it's me again. Could you confirm with me if you are still waiting for the Shure's to arrive? Thank you.
-Graham
Nov 25th 2008
Sorry, I have already contact the company.
They have shipped it but the item seems lost.
They said they will find out the problem ASAP.
I have no information for now. =(
I will let you know.
Anyway, I think it is better to get the Westone 3.
If you want my SE530, sure, I will ship it to you ASAP.
-wynn
Nov 25th 2008
Yeah, Wynn, I was definitely looking at the Westone 3! At the price, however, I just can't afford it . I'm a poor university student and I just can't set aside any more money. Thank you for contacting Shure to ask about the headphones - I'm really excited to get them - my ipod is full of lossless audio just waiting for them .
I am going home to see my parents this weekend - they live on the other side of the GTA. Perhaps, if we are lucky, the headphones will arrive and we could meet sometime this weekend that is good for you?
Thanks again Wynn. Will you keep me updated on the status of the SE 530's shipment?
I will be sure to leave some very glowing feedback for you - you have been very helpful through the wait. Thanks.
-Graham

No problem, I will let you know the latest information about the SE530. Don't worry.

Dec 3rd 2008
Hey,
I just wanted to check in. It's been just over a week now, so I am wondering if there are any updates (emails from shure, shipment info, etc) on the headphones?
My stock sony headphones are literally falling apart, lol (left earbud stopped working this morning).
Thanks.
-Graham
Dec 3rd 2008
Graham,
They have already shipped me the SE530 yesterday. I told them to ship with tracking but they don't.
I hope I can receive it this time.
I will let you know when it is arrived.
-wynn
Dec 3rd 2008
Thanks Wynn. Do you know where they ship from? (GTA, United States, elsewhere international, etc...) I'm just trying to get an idea as to how long it will take ...
Thanks again man. Hope to hear from you soon!
-Graham

It comes from US. Should arrive in 10-15days.
Sorry for the delay.

Hi Wynn,
It's been quite some time since you last responded to me. I'm not sure if you're on vacation or something, but I would appreciate some communication. In a few days from now, I'm going to have to go ahead and leave you some negative feedback, as well as post a general thread about what I suspect may have been you stringing me along for all this time. It's all really quite unfortunate. Please get back to me and let me know what's going on - I'm still holding out for you!
-Graham
Jan 5th, 2009
Graham,
Sorry I was able to reply your message. I can't even get on Head-fi. BTW, I am sick of waiting for the SE530, so I have already asked the company to refund me the cost. Anyway, I wasn't able to get on head-fi so I cannot give you any updates. I feel sorry about that. I have already tried my best, and I hope you are not going to leave a negative feedback because it took your time.
-wynn
Jan 7th, 2009
Hi Wynn,
Thanks for the quick response. I'm still not sure what sort of feedback to leave here. If you could perhaps give me some proof of this situation, then I'd be happy in that regards. It's just that I am fairly certain that Shure would not give out refunds of the full purchase price after so long, because if so, why would anyone bother selling their headphones, why wouldn't they just do what you are doing? I know you've said that they have had difficulty shipping them to you, but I don't think that is going to make them give you a refund. If you could send me a bit of proof (email correspondance, scanned packing slip or something, anything), then I would be more inclined to believe you. I'd just like to make sure we are both being honest here. Thanks wynn.
-Graham
Jan 7th, 2009
Hi Graham,
I do not mind if you don't trust me.
I would show you a proof.
Anyway, I would suggest you to not buy/sell stuff in Head-fi if you don't trust each other. Just think about it, I don't have any benefit for being not honest in this case. Do I get paid from someone for wasting your time and my time?
This is just a suggestion for you.
BTW, you did not give me any payment for the headphone yet. So I believe that you shouldn't leave a feedback, but sure if you want to do it that much.
And ya, I really do not mind to have a negative feedback, just give me a reason for it and that's fine for me. =)
I will send you a proof within this week. I am pretty busy in these days.
-wynn
Jan 7th, 2009
Well, Wynn, I will make it clear in my post that no money changed hands, but nevertheless I was proceeding with a deal from you, and things fell through, and I think it would be valuable information for people to know before dealing with you. I'm sorry if you feel it is unfair.
-Graham

.. Phew.. I may have missed a PM or two, but that's the majority of it. And, what you read above is the exact reason why I advise nobody to deal with Wynn - lack of communication, sketchy details, and just a general feeling of unease.
I hope anybody who has money invested here gets what they deserve. I live nearby and would lend a hand if need be

I just received 2 PM's from Wynn and Markmaxx, and it appears that Wynn refunded marketmaxx his money in full amd mark maxxed let me know it was in his account. Wynn couldn't return the money immediately, because it was ina Paypal dispute, so please disregard the last couple of PM's with negative feedback between Wynn and mark maxx.
No Karate chops necessary All has been fixed in this transaction.I have deleted unrelated posts in this feedback post. Thanks for taking care of this Wynn. |

This kid waited 3 weeks and after repeated PMs I find out the headphones are in his house still. You only have 30 days to file a dispute. (paypal) If the kid did send the headphones great! but if I waited for 7 more days for the headphones not to show up, then I would have had no recourse.
The dispute on paypal was only 1 1/2 days. If he would of answered my PM. he would of known I didn't want them earlier because Markl said the headphones were not Dennon 2000 LA. Mark said he could not gaurante the sound because he didn't ( Lawton Audio) install the cable on the headphone. Plus fallenangle posted Wynn took advantage of me, and was pissed about it!
Aaron you need to amend your post so someone else does not do business with him. He may sell something to someone here and walk away from head-fi and then what?
Now that I have cooled down:....What possable excuse is there for not shipping me my headphones? I sent him the $1000.00 2 min after the IC. turned into a FS.
I just recently purched a set of GS 1000 with black dragon ballanced cable,(from here on head-fi) it took 3 days to get here from California (to Va. )
