Come on guys, step up to the challenge! What is or are your favorite electronic music songs from any of the decades past? The past several decades are chalked full of probably hundreds of years of electronic songs and there were some amazing gems out there! I already know most of mine! How about you?

I searched through this thread and couldn't find this anywhere, but if any of you haven't heard Mr. Bill, he is positively glorious and quite unique - highly recommend him to anyone who likes glitchy or complex music :D

Here's his most popular song (for good reason) and then two of his albums that I haven't been able to stop listening to for the last 6 months or so:

A few 80s picks...

My favourite track from Technodelic, YMO - Gradated Grey (1981):

Something I think still sounds pretty fresh, definitely ahead of its time: Moebius Plank Neumeier - Pitch Control, from Zero Set (1983):

And one you might remember, if you're of a certain age

Tangerine Dream - Le Parc (L.A. Streethawk), from 1985:

  LFO - Freak (2003)

Good selection. I see LFO as a defining example of the roots of electronic music. Unfortunately they haven't had an album since 2003's "Sheath". Ironically that video was also on my most recent compilation video of AMP from MTV-Japan. Anyone who would still like to get on the email list for occasional downloads of this electronic music video show, go ahead and send me a PM.

In other newz, Aphex Twin is still slowly churning out some innovative freebies on his two Soundcloud accounts:
