Trap that doesn't suck. Seriously, heRobust knows how to do this Trap **** right. Not so plain that it's horrendously boring.

I linked this one before, too...but it's rare I find a Trap tune I like so it's gonna get linked again.

That 'one million dollars' sample gets me every time.

Oh, and I never thought about it like this...but one of the sleeper albums of the year is a Trap album. Dirty Hipster Trap.

To an extent anyway, but that's what went through my head when I listened to it again yesterday. Great Electronic album either way. One of the best of the year.

Check out Soular Order if you missed him this year (2 free EPs). Especially if you like Burial. Amazing stuff there.

I could go on and on. There was a ton of good stuff this year. The new Sub Focus is probably going to win my 'Single of the Year'. Because holy **** Tidal Wave is so good.

whu? new sub focus? your talking about singles right? there isnt an album is there?

i already said it - i like trap. its fun. i dont understand why your "admitting" to it like its a dirty pleasure. say it proud and loud:"i like purity ring". lol, i like them too...

not sure if i posted this here or not, but heres a good trap track: (im linking it cause i cant seem to embed it)

I've made my view on Trap pretty clear. I think it's terrible for the most part. I think it's funny that I seem to like producers I've never heard of Trap tracks more than well known guys.

For instance, I wanted to like this so much.

But I just can't enjoy it.

Purity Ring is great though. One of the most original things this year. I think as Trap evolves into something more complicated like Purity Ring (vocals over top) I will get into it.

And yes, the new Tidal Wave single finally dropped. Best single of the year, IMO.

Yeah, Purity Ring is really good. I've had to limit myself from listening to it so that it could have it's charm for longer :]

It doesn't have a single bad song. One might hastily argue that Cartographist would be a weak point, but oh man, would one be mistaken.

So I'm not sure if there's any one from Toronto in here, but a few weeks ago, Calyx and TeeBee were in town and DESTROYED the Annex Wreckroom on 6 DECK AND 2 MIXERS. These guys played some kind of a special set. usually when a duo DJ comes to town, it's one, or the other. We got one half each of Chase and Status and DC Breaks last week, for example. But Calyx and TeeBee are Calyx and TeeBee, they tour together, and play together.

ANYWAYS. All or Nothing has been on repeat for some time now, and that set a few weeks ago was probably THE BEST dnb set I've ever heard.

They just had an essential mix lastnight, and it's available to download

The track list is a lie, I heard a DLR & Octane - Set up The Set over C&T - Pure Gold, so yeah.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but Kubbi has released his new album, Circuithead (17 songs), for free. Excellent album, and he has many different file formats available, including lossless like FLAC and AIFF. http://kubbi.bandcamp.com/album/sleet

Well, UKf actually posted a couple of tunes I really liked lately, although they probably should have posted the first to their Music channel versus the Dubstep one:

Also, really good trap here:

This song deserves its own post, C&K are giving it away at Christmas-time:

BLOW YA MUTHAFU%IN HORNS!!!!

I feel like I don't belong here anymore lol.
Between trap, brostep, electro/house, jump up dnb, and drumtsep, none of it is really what I'm into. More so into the darker, deeper, moodier side of it all, and not a lot of people have posted anything that I particularly like other than an Aeph track posted. Anything that I have posted, gets no response, so I'm wondering if I even really belong here considering my tastes are different form the majority

what do you guys think of Neurofunk? Personally I think Neuro funk is the best of drum and bass productions, liquid's finesse and attention to detail being a close second for me.

Ignore the giant DUBSTEP in the freeze frame there, it's NOT dubstep.
