This thread has gone to the dogs, I'm finding little music of value. There appears to be a lack of authority mediating what quality of music is posted. I do realize it's a forum, and that there is no referee, but the community's got to criticize itself.

So recommend something yourself to improve the quality of the thread instead of complaining.

Thanks, I just looked into him - he's really good.

If you like DnB at all, he started as Spor. Really good dark DnB.

I think he's a step above Skrillex personally. He's been a producer for quite awhile. Knows the ins and outs and what not.

EDIT: Also, if anyone around here is a Skrillex fan, check out his remix of Bennasi's 'Cinema'. Holy crap. I can honestly say that there are not enough songs with wobbly highs in the world today after this one. Although, the high pitched voice garbage Skrillex does every now and then really bothers me.

Only listen to electronic as an offhand genre, not sure how this slides by you devotees...

It's sort of Gui Boratto'ish. I'm not sure wether it's as good as Gui Boratto, but I definitely enjoyed it. Check out his CD "Take my breath away", it's really quite good.

In terms of the aforementioned lack of quality. I tend to agree, but in the end the only thing you can do is post things you do like and try to get a discussion started on other subgenres of electronic. Any criticism is not accepted here at head-fi music forums, which makes sense because these are large forums. So unlike other forums, the posters don't know each other like they do on other forums. This eliminates the sort of family like atmosphere in which you can discuss each others preferences and be a critic about some of them.
