Recently, I was asked (indirectly) on HCFR if I was, ultimately, disappointed by my 009 and now embittered since marketing of the Abyss ?

The answer is clearly no ; I love my 009 and his listening is always great.
As to the use of a subwoofer to try to have for super bass striking, the answer is no ; the 009 (with a good amp) does not need to the subwoofer smeared the bass of the 009 (very clean for the Stax).
As for buying one day Abyss? The answer is clearly no, because it is too expensive, too ugly, and poorly adapted to the size of the heads ; unlike some who have "little heads", I rather have a "big head" ; no one is perfect in this world
, nor even a headphone as expensive and innovative that it is ......
