From what I understand the Origin has been much more popular than expected and so EA have been hard at work to catch up with demand. That seems to have caused some delays.

Yeah I'm not that concerned that it's taking a while. I figured it'd be really popular, and all I'm hoping for is that there won't be any problems when I do get it.
It seems EA has that a lot because I remember very high demand for Lionheart and Leonidas II as well. Quite interesting though that it now also happened with their most entry level offering, although it does not surprise me either.
I have not seen the final cable in real life, but know a lot of time went into the development because I have had a prototype of it for ages and it has changed quite a lot (in terms of parts and braiding). I expect it should be a very nice cable and really comfortable.
Same here. Ordered in February and nothing. I checked in on 3/14 and they said they were getting “a few Origin early next week and the rest the week after.” So hopefully that means they’re getting the rest this upcoming week. I noticed they pulled the Origin cable from their website too...
Ordered mine on 23 rd Feb, and sent the stock cable to my seller. On 20th March my seller send me a different terminated Origin cable and after calling them returned that cable too. Now waiting again.

For y'all still waiting on the "Origin" Cable. My sincerest apologies on the delay! To ensure that "Origin" conforms to our EA standard, we've made sure to subject it to even more stringent QC tests due to the sheer volume. I've personally rejected a batch from my production team due to minor flaws like glue stains and scratches. I sincerely apologize for the massive delay in receiving the goods you've ordered.
Please hang on a little while more while i do my utmost to churn out the "Origin" and have it shipped to you / your dealers ASAP.

Palash, that is absolutely infuriating and not acceptable! Do write me an email at eric@effectaudio.com while looping into your local dealers. I will find out what exactly happened and have them rectified regardless of cost.

My dealer today game me a new tracking number. Hope it will arrive within 4/5 days, hope this time they didn't messed up again. @EffectAudio Thanks for the reply.

I know this doesn't mean much but i made a trip down to our production team earlier today to get some updates. We're scheduled to ship out 500 units of "Origin" next week and subsequently another 700 units of "Origin" the week after.

I got mine from MusicTeck a couple days ago so I would assume anyone who ordered from Andrew will be getting theirs any day now. Very happy with the cable, for the price paid this is a no brainer.
