Hello two Questions.
1. You guys accept any IEM Cable as long as they work Correct?
2. Do you guys wait to receive the Mailed Stock Cable before Shipping out the Origin Cable?
I made the Payment on March 4th and the Stock Cable was Delivered on the 7th. I just want to get a rough idea / ETA on the Origin Cable.

Anyone received the Origin cable?
Just received my Origin cables. EA shipped them out 2 days after receiving my trade-in cables (I ordered 1 of each in 2.5mm termination). Took 8 days to receive them which is pretty quick. Not sure why I ordered them in 2.5mm as I don't really use balanced cables. Might have to order them in 3.5mm if I like them. Haven't tried them out yet, but here are some pics. For comparison the top cable is the Null Audio Lune, bottom cable is ALO Litz. All three cables are pretty soft and pliant. The Origin has the same "helix" braid as the Lune, but the Lune is a 4-wire. The ALO Litz has a tighter "chain link" braid. I have the Ares II & Ares II+ cables and I prefer the shorter connector on the Origin cable, as well as the smaller y-split.

Thoughts: build quality is great, v solid twisted cable. Zero microphonics. Connectors are fab, esp into my recessed socket CIEMS (CA FIBAE ME). Came packaged per above in a nice simple envelope. Looks and feels v premium - way superior to $60/£40 amazon offerings (of which i have a few).

Came home to mine today - Listening now with the IMR R1 and it is stunning!
Initial impressions.. softened up the highs a bit and enhanced the low end as well.. more controlled. Soundstage is good, just a nice clean sound coming out of the Hidizs AP80.
The feel of the cable is superb.. nice to the touch and doesn't have too much tension to it. Nice quality for such a low price. Very happy
Looks so nice it pushed me to take a couple quick snaps [in poor light] with my older slr, just because. Thanks Effect Audio!

I placed my order back in February and haven’t received a shipping notification yet. I asked them about it and apparently they only received three Origin cables in their last Effect Audio shipment.
