This is a very nice combination of Cadmus Founder’s Edition with Hercules Audio Mega CM.

Did you succumb to the Cadmus 8W too?
Its always amazing to me that a change of cable and source can reawaken my enjoyment for an iem the IMR acoustics EDP Ace just sings with this combination the bass drops just a bit lower the mids open up with just an incredible sense of staging and space between the instruments. I tried a few cable combinations and the Cadmus 8W was the only one to manage this. The Shanling H5 playing from onboard micro sd and the Effect Audio Cadmus 8w. Ignoring the absurdity that the cable cost more than the iem. My enjoyment of the combination is worth it to me.
Yep afraid so... I'm looking at the Griffin or the Ares now it's a rabbit hole I tell yaDid you succumb to the Cadmus 8W too?![]()

Is the black one supposed to sound different?
Slightly off topic, but regarding to the recent heated topic about Editions with black sleves. I would like to share a picture of the Leonidas II. This cable also released a black sleves edition. Those who have a chance to listen and compare must be lucky.![]()

It is definitely a rabbit hole with cables. I’ll await to hear when you’ve purchased the Centurion!Yep afraid so... I'm looking at the Griffin or the Ares now it's a rabbit hole I tell ya
I blame you as you were, my gateway dealerIt is definitely a rabbit hole with cables. I’ll await to hear when you’ve purchased the Centurion!

I use Code 23 with my Xe6 and agree completely. I have more ergonomic, more expensive, pure copper cables, but none bring the Xe6 out of its shells like C23.Just to add my two cents to the CODE23 talks on the last few pages, it is indeed a chunkier cable. I personally think, for most people it is too thick to use with IEMs, but it is perfect on full sized headphones. Still not the lightest and the most comfortable, but absolutely fine and more than liveable. And the sound will compensate for any inconvenience: it is clean, clear, detailed, punchy with excellent sub-bass, great separation, superb overall clarity improvement. Much better than any other cable I tried at or below its price range. I agree, it is a cable to show your non-believer audio friend.![]()
