Thats the stock Noir Eros S cable which comes in a different design from the original.

Yeah. It's an issue with only 4-wire. Best way is to send it back to EA and add a Chiron to it so you get an OCTA that would not become stiff. I've never had an OCTA EA Cable that became stiff. My OCTA cable has been going strong for a couple of years already

@Ufanco , I have this cable. It's a matter of the material being hydrated, which ends up drying out over time. I've seen someone talking on Twitter about a product to spray on to improve the stiffness that occurs. I've had a Thor Silver II for 7 years and it got stiff over time. I've had my Cleopatra II for a few months now and it's still soft.

Hi, glad to hear that you are enjoying Root cable. Finally, I have another owner to ask for. Do you feel like this cable needs to be burn-in? I have reached out to EA, and they recommended burn-in for 100 hours.

I think you can use a heat gun at medium temperature to soften wires.
