This is both very interesting, and incredibly niche at the same time. Although, I do have an A&K SA700 so consider my curiosity piqued.

A question - is the balanced signal passed solely through the 2.5mm TRRS terminals, or are the L/R (and/or the summed ground) in the 3.5mm used as well?

PW Audio have been offering this adaptor for a while and are asking for significantly less than this, I just bought one to use with my Kann Cube and SR25... works a treat.

It looks very well made and will match the DAPs well for style but €200 will buy you a whole new DAP or pair or headphones. This feels like a number has been chosen to see how far it could be taken.......

Got a 2.5mm to 4.4mm adapter on Amazon for 30$. Works fine for me, and my Utopia is picky.

PW Audio uses 24/26 AWG wire and the EA version uses 34 AWG. EA wire is less than 1/3 the thickness of PW.

You can BT reciever stream off the 1A. It connects instantly when it turns on o.o;
