Agreed! Awesome meet everyone! Was great to meet a lot of new people at this meet. Let's get a big room for the next one and we can get a whole bunch more people out.

Slankoe, for the amp base, whatever you do Do Not use Polyshades, it's terrible. I'll only make that mistake once...
Would recommend a good stain followed by high quality lacquer.

Ok thanks. Got some maple wood stain and gun finishing oil, which I think is tung oil. That should be ok.

Truth is, the HD650 have that 3D soundscape magic. The Clear have it too, but HD650 can match or exceed Clear in at least this regard. Despite being outclassed in a variety of ways, HD650 is still a strong contender. It is about as detailed as Clear.

Clear is more suitable for listening at low volume. HD650 loves to be loud!

To my ears, anyway.
