does anyone know how closely craig sticks to the schedule he gives people (for example, when i ordered he said 3 weeks, which today is 1 week from now)?

I don't think we can expect any being shipped until closer to the end of September first week in October. This is based upon my last emails with Craig. I don't know if this applies only to mine or to all of the current production run. I am guessing it applies to all. You may want to send an email to Craig. He is good at getting back to you within the day.

Based on my experience with him building my amp, he was pretty good at keeping on schedule.

Eddie current has a history of building good amps that somehow don't sell. the HD25 was discontinued after going an entire year without an order. considering this history, making only 6 ZDs is somewhat understandable.

Though I can't speak for the ZD, I ordered an EC/SS from Craig on the 9th. He estimated that it would be built and ready to ship on the 18th. Today is the 18th and I received a DHL tracking number and email from Craig letting me know it is on its way. So I'd be fairly confident in his estimates.

hi. I got an email from Craig today. this is a partial quote: Quote:

I have fallen slightly behind schedule by using an assembly house to build the amplifiers. They only do military contracts, and the five units will be built as samples for the next run. They are saying ten days from 9/18. I hope this does not inconvenience you in anyway. I cannot build them myself to their standards, and it is important to me that the amplifiers are consistent.

so i guess this is confirmation for the end of the month for the first few ZDs and a second run afterwards.

That means he is on schedule from when he last emailed me over a week ago. Hopefully, they will be shipping by the end of September.
