Sharing same ownership, it was natural to use same R&D resources already approved in design of High End audio products.

Texas Instruments headphone amplifier
TR-Amp headphone amp use Texas Instruments High Fidelity TPA6120 chip and allows music, not the amplifier, to be heard. TPA6120 current-feedback AB amplifier architecture delivers high bandwidth, extremely low noise, and up to 128dB of dynamic range

Three key features make current-feedback amplifiers outstanding for audio. The first feature is the high slew rate that prevents odd order distortion anomalies. The second feature is current-on-demand at the output that enables the amplifier to respond quickly and linearly when necessary without risk of output distortion. When large amounts of output power are suddenly needed, the amplifier can respond extremely quickly without raising the noise floor of the system and degrading the signal-to-noise ratio. The third feature is the gain-independent frequency response that allows the full bandwidth of the amplifier to be used over a wide range of gain settings.

No Noise

Using a Super LOW ESR tantal capacitors, high grade components in power-supply design and 4 layer golden plated PCB technology from PC and smart phone industry we reduced the noise to minimum. This will improve super fine details especially in Hi-Res files where you can feel and hear the difference.

Okay, so first off, NO AFFILIATES. I am a reviewer, I just made the thread because it did not exist before.

Now then,

My initial impressions:

- Clean sound
- Better than HPA3U (I had it around at the moment of receiving TR-AMP), in terms of detail, clarity, control. Can get most headphones louder with less distortion. HPA3U can get louder, but becomes distorted.
- Can drive HE6SE, if you don't need above 100 dB!!!
- Not a looker, but very practical
- Me loving them Type-C ports
- Separate port for chrg and data is lovely
- No noise if listening while charging
- No delay, Driver works perfect
- Included cable is not recommended
- 3.5mm and 6.3mm jacks, for a portable, me loves
- Can drive T1 from Beyer perfectly
- weird, but if you get any hiss, it is at the mid of its range, from 11 to 13 o'clock. No hiss above or bellow it.
- overall, black background, good clarity
- intuitive usage
- Testing the battery life and other features currently

Shame were not seeing more discussion here! Just us reviewers lol

Yea my reviews are up, but frankly I quite like the TR-Amp. It's a touch bright but it pairs nicely with my E-MU Purplehearts and my Ether CX both of which I use when I'm not in my office depending on what I'm listening too on my Cell

I also finished my in-depth written review about the Earmen TR-AMP, and man this was an amazing little piece, with lots of driving power and a nice natural sound. I also mention all of its downsides in the review, and there are a few, but happily at the end of the day, the Earmen TR-AMP is pretty much a dream device for the porice point.

I will also transfer my review to Head-Fi in the following hours! :)

Hi Guys,

Did any of you experience issues when using the Earmen Sparrow with Android DAPs or Phones? Specifically clicks and pops?
I have tried to use it with 2 Android phones and a Fiio X7ii using native Tidal app and UAPP both the applications suffer this issue but on one of the phones I did not have any issues with UAPP (did not test Tidal app on this phone)

Although after about 2 minutes of playback the click and pops stop and the playback is then flawless.

Have not tried any iDevices, but with Windows 10 PCs there is no such issue ( none with a old Windows Phone as well )

Hello
When I plug qobuz into my Android phone coupled with TR AMP, the LED stays green even on Hi res files. But I thought that it had to change color depending on the quality of the files. Is there an adjustment to be made somewhere?
