sure synergy will finally make the difference if its to ones preferences or not. But no matter which headphone you use, when trying it with both devices one should be able to tell if one is brighter than the other.

Absolutely. Having the Mojo by itself. It was OK sounding. But from changing back and forth between the TR-Amp and Mojo I quickly found that the TR-Amp sounded better to my ears and with my gear. Now, the Angel gets most listening time with me
Hi, I have technical question regarding the Earmen Angel that I didn't see pop up in the entire thread, I'm aware it's going to be very niche but if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, feel free to pitch in.
Recently I got to try out the Angel and I downloaded the driver for it to use it with HQPlayer to upsample to DSD and to use my EQ profiles that I have already saved on it, after some listening I found that it the earmen sounded fine with DSD but it wasn't that engaging, compare to my current desktop setup, just wondering if it's recommended to play upsample DSD onto the angel and if somebody knows what's the sweetspot for DSD upsampling with it's DAC, DSD256, 512?
