C'mon, we need more than "Liking it" :> ) .....
Sorry about it, When I made my post I only gave it a brief listen after getting them out the box. But this what I heard with my brief listening to them, I would say to my ears the details was pretty good to me, maybe tad more detailed then what I’m used to.

I found the bass sound good withe the large stock tips, do to the medium one that comes already on the JD10 not giving me a seal. But even then the larger tips was still not doing good with keeping a seal in my ears. I found with my Clarion ear-tips I already had the seal was better and the bass improved a lot to my ears.

So you would say you got your money's worth? 😁

For real though, thanks for the impressions. You may be the first on the Internet to type something up about them. Great to know about the detail and bass.

And I usually have to use the largest tips to get a seal. I'll be throwing my large Dunu S&S tips on them for sure.

Thanks

They’re easily the best $7 IEM’s I’ve ever heard — a little spicy on the upper end to my ears, but not like some earlier KZ models from several years ago. I actually briefly compared them to a couple of other recent IEM acquisitions, the Simgot EW300 and the Kinera Celest Phoenixcall, and while I definitely thought both of those were a step up in technical performance, it wasn’t far off enough that I didn’t still enjoy the JD10.

Yep so much better then what I expected. This was the best $7 dollars I spent in compared to the other iems I bought thru out the year that was in the same price range.

Received my FiiO JD10 in todays mail.

Ordered 8 days ago. from China to Pennsylvania in 8 days free shipping, wow thanks FiiO and Ali Express

Best $6.99 iem in my collection.!!!

I am listening on a balanced hakugei cable attached to the amazing FiiO K11 R2R Dac amp.

Definitely a V shaped tuning, with some treble emphasis. But midrange is clear and timbre of both male and female vocals seems correct.

Bass is clean a well defined, not muddy or bleeding into mids. Donald Fagen’s “Morph the Cat” played with great explosive bass slam.

Seems wrong to listen to a cheap iem with a cable that cost an order of magnitude higher.

Any way this $6.99 iem is an enjoyable listening experience, there is some emphasis in treble but it is not sibilant or tiring. I did have to use the larger supplied ear tips to get a good seal, usually mediums are what I use.

Pros: $7 price
Natural dynamic timbre
Details galore
Wide (but not deep or tall) soundstage

Cons: Hostile cable
Meager tips
Vocals way upfront
Aggressively forward treble

Well...let's calm down. Did FiiO put these out to troll cheapskates? Sure, I got a pair.

All that's in the box are tips (3 pair silicone), cable and IEMs, along with a FiiO authentication/warranty pamphlet. That's fine, no frills.

The cable is thin with very springy earhooks, the kind that try to pull them out of your ears. If you're thinking a two-pin cable from FiiO is worth the $7 by itself, take a look at the photos on the original post -- there's a plastic sleeve around the prongs that's not going to fit many other IEMs, and swapping out this one isn't simple.

(EDIT: Apparently this is a QDC cable connection. Reading suggests that QDC cables can be tricky; some have reversed polarity.)

It does have an in-line volume control, which works, and a stop/phone switch, which does stop the music. I haven't tried the mike.

None of the tips were large enough for me. The only tips from my widely assorted collection that provided a proper seal were dome-shaped Complys, half the price of the JD10, and Penon Orange Liqueur silicones, also more than $3 a pair. Other large silicones or foams, like Anji Rui and Tennmak, didn't seal enough to provide bass -- don't ask me why. I also had fit problems with the shallowness of the Salnotes Zero 2 so I'm in a minority on this, but you might be too.

OK, got a full seal with the Complys and Liqueurs. I can hear the bottom bass notes in OutKast's "The Way You Move."

Despite the "bass" in the original hype, the bass is just adequate: present but not meaty. It's fuller but a bit mushier with the Liqueurs than with the Complys. Either way, you really need a complete seal with these.

The dynamic driver does have good timbre on acoustic instruments, and the soundstage is wide for IEMs, though not especially deep or tall.

But the JD10 is basically all about treble -- maybe this is the "female poison" style of Asian tuning I have generally avoided. Any vocals are right up next to your brain, along with cymbals and tambourine and guitar distortion. If you are sibilance sensitive, these aren't for you.

If you're having trouble making out dialogue in movies, these might be just the thing. Otherwise, well, sometimes you do get just what you paid for. I'm sure many $7 IEMs are a lot worse.

Well, the tuning is nothing like the KZ EDC/EDX Pros - it's a lot better than those. Very enjoyable for the house/electronic music I listen to. Now I can giveaway the KZ's which I bought on TEMU out of curiosity to use on my walks 😆

The treble on the JD3 was too much for my ears - the JD10 has just the right amount. Everything else that @earmonger noted is spot on.

Got mine and I am using it with my Black Dragon IEM V2. I know it isn’t fair using a high price IEM cable but I need a 4.4 mm balanced and I am not going to reterminate stock cable with a new 4.4 mm plug either. So far, I am impressed with how much this thing can deliver. Hell, I can’t even get any package ship for $7 here in the US.

Mine arrived a couple hours ago and I'm also impressed with what these deliver for $7.

They're a fun V shape. So the mids are recessed a bit, but nothing to bad. Kind of reminds me of the cca cra that's twice the price. But these are more clear. Not nearly as boomy.

I'm glad I spent the money on them. Got a new pair to walk my dog with. 🐕
