Gap-less seems to be working fairly well. I can still hear a slight skip between tracks on Operation Mindcrime, more of a low pop or click than anything.  Honestly this is the first DAP I have ever owned that does gap-less this well. I really should just rip this one to a CUE+FLAC and be done with it. Gotta find the CD first.

Gapless is now flawless, even on tracks that were not quite seamless before except............. the persistent problem where the first gapless play after a reboot is still missed. Still a stellar update given the implemented Mac DAC and new file formats. Thank you Paul and iBasso Crew.

Are you using FLAC files?
Any other settings changed besides enabling gap-less?
What file system are you using?

And yes, Paul and crew, good work on the update.

Timing  the media scan again, not as fast as it was last time, over 6.5 minutes and not half way through. Does a factory reset affect this in any way? When I timed it at around 3.5 minutes, I had just done a factory reset. This time, I just started a scan after the database was already built. I'll test and time further.

All Flac and no other setting changes. I'm not sure what you mean "What file system (Card Format?)? The symptom is almost like starting the engine for the first time. Once started, it runs flawlessly until you turn the ignition off.

Is it just me or anyone finds the 2.3 firmware has a lot more "reverb" to the sound?

Hey guys, just wondering. Does the DX90 support up to 24 bit like the 32 bit? Is it possible to use it as dac/amp on laptop?

Yes the DX90 supports up to 24 bit. Not sure waht the 32 bit thing means though. And yes you can use it as a dac/amp straight out of your laptop. If you're using windows, you'll need a driver. For linux/mac, they just came out with the firmware today that allows you to do that as well.

And somehow. Now my pc does not read the MicroSd after the update for osx and windows both. But the DX does.

No clue why.
