The only question is WHY?! DX90 has decent amp, capable drive even HD650, not to mention low impedance IEM's.

I've never seen a definitive answer to whether the DX90 can comfortably drive the HD650s.Have you actually tried this combo yourself? Does anyone else have a positive opinion on this?

They drive my HD600's fine. No complaints. I usually have them at 230-240 volume wise. However when I put the dx90 through my neco labs twin burr Brown headphone amp the HD600's pack a lot more wallop. Its not so much that the DX90 has any problems driving the HD600s its more a case of audio preference for me. For softer more dynamic  vinyl rips my amp can be quite beneficial in lifting the low/mids/high.
So YES they can drive them but one MAY prefer the change in audio 'quality'  DEPENDING on what one is listening to

In summary YES they can comfortably drive the HD600's (for example) but some may prefer an amp depending on the type of recordings they are listening to. If you listen to CD rips then absolutely no problem due to the loud [lack of] dynamics ! :)

Ps: In case you are worried about the 'vale'd' aspect of the cans the gain boost really brings the cans too life.

DX90 internal amp is really good yet I still prefer to pair my PK1 earbuds with Fiio E12A (I have it before DX90). This combination sound much better for my ears than DX90 alone. I don't care about pure sound. The most important thing to me is the sound which I can enjoy most :)

However, if someone doesn't has amp already, just simply try your cans with DX90 internal amp first. You may abandon your plan to seek for an amp and save a lot of your budget :)

IMHO this "pure sound" stuff is a bunch of hoo-haw! iBasso uses DAC, buffers, and opamps to reach their preferred sound signature. Fiio does the same without DAPs. Amp makers do the same but without the DAC (unless it's a DAC / amp). If someone prefers the sound signature of an E12A, so be it. No need to dig on them or patronize them for it...

The Dignis case is very well made. I have one here and it works and holds up well.

Just received my Dignis case yesterday. Yes... a wonderful case. Well made, fits perfectly and has no issues... except as previously noted, the three main function buttons are a tiny bit harder to press.
No big deal.

Oh... and I got it in 2 days from Amazon - Prime.

Colleagues, may be it's a right time to tell each other about colors of our Dignis cases and the reasons of our choices concerning it? I think it'll be useful for noobs. I have the "dark brown" (not buttero) color as I sayed. And about choice - this color is really about the color of DX90s box.
For me - it's really interesting about using colors of.

I just have another "pressure" with this case, smoothly but not harder indeed. No audible "clicks" course and but no fails with new "smoother" clicks. Thanks to Dignis.
